A SpaceX flight attendant said Elon Musk exposed himself and propositioned her for sex, documents show. The company paid $250,000 for her silence.

Is it racist to ask Elon to go back to Africa?

SpaceX, the aerospace firm founded by Elon Musk, the world's wealthiest man, paid a flight attendant $250,000 to settle a sexual misconduct claim against Musk in 2018, Insider has learned.

The attendant worked as a member of the cabin crew on a contract basis for SpaceX's corporate jet fleet. She accused Musk of exposing his erect penis to her, rubbing her leg without consent, and offering to buy her a horse in exchange for an erotic massage, according to interviews and documents obtained by Insider.

The incident, which took place in 2016, is alleged in a declaration signed by a friend of the attendant and prepared in support of her claim. The details in this story are drawn from the declaration as well as other documents, including email correspondence and other records shared with Insider by the friend.

According to the declaration, the attendant confided to the friend that after taking the flight attendant job, she was encouraged to get licensed as a masseuse so that she could give Musk massages. It was during one such massage in a private cabin on Musk's Gulfstream G650ER, she told the friend, that Musk propositioned her.
Can’t say I’m surprised. Seems like a Musk kinda thing. 🤷‍♂️

This is so funny. One day Elon Musk is a liberal hero because he makes electric cars, pays a lot of taxes, creates a lot of jobs and believes in free speech.
Then he says something liberals don't like and he's the most evil human being on the planet. Hilarious.
Musk has always been known for being a self important asshole.

That doesn’t mean he hasn’t earned accolades for his accomplishments.

That's true. And frankly this is not nearly as worrisome/creepy as an old man buying a teen beauty pageant so that he could sneak back stage and ogle teen girls naked.

A "liberal" hero??
Where did you get that, from assuming that ONLY LIBERALS were interested in electric cars?
I was a fan boi the moment the first mass market Tesla rolled off the line, but not because I thought I could afford it. but because I predicted it was only a matter of time before
he rolled out a truly affordable economy Tesla that would be within reach of anybody with a halfway decent job.

Eleven years later and boy howdy do I feel stupid, because he continues to roll out overpriced BLING instead of a world car that will appeal to the masses.
I love the fact that Teslas are ridiculously fast, do tricks, and attempt to take over 90% of the driving chores.
But do I NEED all that crap on an EV?
No, we HAVE a very nice van that does go pretty fast, does eliminate most of the stress in rush hour traffic and does park itself when needed.
And it's handicap equipped, too...something a Tesla will never be.

What WE (and a lot of others) really NEED is a reliable low priced EV as a SECOND car.
Sorry, 35-45 thousand bucks is NOT "affordable" (Yes GM, your BOLT is also overpriced) and being it's eleven years now, it's clear Musk will never deliver the EV version
of the VW Bug, or Model T, or even the Dodge Dart. Such an EV would be just fine with 200-250 mile range, performance equivalent to any typical econobox car, and something
along the lines of a twenty-thousand dollar price tag, give or take a few thousand. No stupid pet tricks, no autonomous driving, no Ferrari beating acceleration, just a good economy car.

So tell us, why would Musk be a "liberal" hero to begin with?
A liberal hero carmaker would deliver something with mass affordability and mass appeal.
Shopping for Rolexes is a blast if you have the cash but if all you can afford is a Citizen or a Timex, the Rolex store isn't where you need to be.

It wasn’t a teen beauty pageant. It was Miss USA/Universe pageants (all 18+ year olds), but yeah, disgusting at any age. Can’t imagine how furious I would be if I had been the father of any of the contest participants.

Musk has claimed to have Asperger syndrome. If you have ever spent time with anyone who has this, it is common for them to be self absorbed and unable to relate to others well. It’s not their fault nor is it the same as someone who doesn’t have Asperger and is just a self absorbed prick. I cannot say for sure if Musk has/doesn’t have Asperger. All I can say is he does have some of the same personality quirks and awkwardness of people I know who do have Asperger. Those people are not the richest so they’re behavior is t broadcast for the world to see. There may actually be a medical issue he has that can impact his behavior.

No I would ask a creep (Musk) and a loon (Murdoch) to get the hell out. In fact, these two would seem to represent our Immigration problem.
We have an immigration problem? Send an e-mail to Joe Biden. I don't think he is aware of it.

Oops. I stand corrected.

He can't deliver that car, because doing so would kill his business. Once everyday Americans can afford electric cars, there will be way more on the road, and our electric grid can't handle that. Additionally, the stuff in those batteries don't grow on trees.

Nope, a 20k electric car would kill the current (false) perception of the concept entirely.

Someone had to be “first in space.”

You lefties had better get used to having your tender liberal feelings hurt. The future is not bright for you. Jeff Bezos also had the nerve to criticize Biden and you can be sure that many others will now follow. It's like the kid who had the nerve to say the king was naked. What followed did not go well for the king.
I'm making popcorn. This is going to be fun....an entire summer of watching people no longer afraid to speak the truth.....followed by a mid-term election that will end in a cry-fest for millions of liberals. I know Joe's stock market is crashing but I'm investing all my money in tissue....even though I won't be buying it.

Bullshit.
Necessity is the mother of invention and the scenario you describe is unrealistic in the extreme.
Yes they would indeed be flying out of the showrooms all over the country, but STILL NOT at a rate that would equal the hysterical calamity you describe, which sounds like
"I woke up this morning and suddenly eighty million EV's were all stuck on the main drag outside my house with dead batteries"...all in the space of 24 hours!

Yeah, cars people like and can afford sell quickly but not as quickly as you make it sound.
They would enjoy the kind of sales any popular car enjoys, and the electric grid would expand in accordance with the various infrastructure bills that are being proposed, and
industry lobbyists would see to it that the right arms got twisted to make entreprenurial history.

And by the way, you may have missed the memo about the Salton Sea, which is now being referred to as "The Saudi Arabia of Lithium".
Also, battery technology is not trapped in amber like a prehistoric bug, it's a fast moving field with new developments popping up almost every week.
Lithium may be the coin of the realm right now but it's never going to be "THE LAST" one.
Making electricity from chemical reactions is a very wide field...for a very good reason.
Again, necessity is the mother of invention, and Musk is by far NOT the only individual investing in EV technology, which sort of pops holes in the luddite doom and gloom predictions
you're setting forth.

And even if HE can't deliver, that doesn't mean others won't.
If it kills HIS business it will be because he preferred selling expensive playthings instead of selling affordable cars, not because it wasn't possible.
