I don't know what an "adequate" number is, but staffing at the border is at record levels, and we've had roughly zero net growth in the illegal population over the past decade or so, so it would appear to be close to adequate based on the numbers.

FWIW, I support a "wall" where it makes sense. There is just a whole lot of that border where it's just stupid.

Not building a wall along the whole border means that people will cross where there isn't a wall.

We don't have a problem feeding children who are truly in need, we question the amount of feeding being demanded. Why should we, hard working, tax paying Americans pay for what these kids parents should be paying for? My son attends John Jay High School in SA. They get "free food" Breakfast and lunch. He literally CANNOT pay for them. His school is a magnet school, most of the people he's in class with, come from middle to middle upper class families. But because it's politically advantageous, a small portion of the student body comes from lower income homes, they are designated for these free lunches. It's ridiculous.
