Try and buy beer. :) also, now that you are 18 start using spell check so you can sound like you speak with authority. :)

LOL - you never seen South Park? I know how to spell authority - it was just a joke.

Life is a huge conveyor belt. I happen to be way down the line on that conveyor belt from many of you. But if you can see the back of my head it means you will soon be where I am standing.

It has been said so many times that life moves so quickly but it is so true. I can remember like it was yesterday being in the military and being called "kid" by my fellow GI buddies as I was 18 and they were mostly 21 and older. But now I get called "sir". Gawd, I hate that sir crap......
I used to dislike being called sir, but I have learned to accept it. It is refreshing to see younger generations show respect for their elders.
It does suck, tho, when a woman you think might be almost your age does it.

48, the wife is 55...she just got her first "senior discount" at Cracker Barrel last weekend. I had to spend an hour listening to her complain about being "old"

Getting close to the half-century mark. But still young enough to really appreciate Josie's avatar.

they don't know for sure the causes, or even how to treat it, and won't give you effective meds til stage 3, and that is when they give you carbidopa/levidopa which works for a while but starts being ineffective later on. Takes out most of the tremors but that is all it does FOr me. What it does TO me is make me queasy and sleepy. I saw several people on the ship with PD worse than mine.
They are rapidly zeroing in on the cause (Japanese research) and on using stem cells to replace the dying dopamine-producing cells (Britain & Singapore). You may have to leave the US to get effective treatment, but it will be available within a decade.

just turned 37.

Us old farts are tied for second place....

59. Eyeing retirement in a few years, its in sight.

Pretty sure that appreciation continues as long as we have a pulse.

How could you NOT see that coming? lololol you totally set him up with an alley-oop and then was surprised that he dunked it *shakes head*

I thought he handled it pretty well. Ambivalent, non-commital. I would have gone with, "Princess? Aren't you supposed to be getting my cocoa?
