Well, I think that I could have done a better job than the prosecution did.... They knew what the jury instructions would be yet they barely, IMO, concentrated on this....

Oh lordy. Go ahead, give us the rundown of your arguments. This should be funny as hell.

I don't think so... I am really tired of arguing this case (lol)....and am ready to move on to something else.... I rest my case....

Shocking. Well, not really.

Most people that claim to know more and 'would do better' than people with experience, are usually all hot air.

and having sat through a couple hundred criminal trials and reviewed the transcripts of many of those trials, I can tell you you cannot often judge the credibility of a witness merely by what his testimony says. Body language, tone of voice etc is incredibly important in telling if a witness is telling the truth or not.

And eye contact, it gives your words more credibility with the jury when speaking 'directly' to them.

maybe because they thought she was a lying S o' S?

who cares

why are you so emotionally involved in this case? There are so many other things that require more energy. Every day a kid with less baggage than Travon Martin gets killed by another black guy and Obama, Sharpturd or the other racial racketeers don't give a rat's ass about those deaths.

l agree and l suggest many zimmerman fans waste energy on other things

they have been spending their time in this forum 7/24

now it is my turn oscar

Not when they instigated the whole affair... In most other states he would have been found Guilty.....

That's ridiculous. I can go up to you and call you a ****ing asshole, stupid ****, ******, ****head or anything else I want to call you.

And -- If you punch me in the face? Knock me down? Jump on top of me and boink my head on the sidewalk? You're going to jail.

I can stride up to you at midnight while you're walking your dog and ask you what the **** you're doing here; tell you to get the hell out of Dodge; yell that "We don't allow any ******* on this block!!!"

And -- If you punch me in the face? Knock me down? Jump on top of me and boink my head on the sidewalk? You're going to jail.

If I don't shoot you first.

This is the thing MANY just simply don't get. Even Trayvon's "friend" fell into that trap by justifying Zimmerman getting "a whoopass" for his LEGAL actions.

like many other people who think zimmerman is guilty ?

yes, just like those many other people who, despite all evidence to the contrary, still think Zimmerman is guilty.

sorry that you don't like it. sorry if it hurts your feelings. but the jury has spoken and now and for all eternity...George Zimmerman is NOT GUILTY

Another thing people don't get is Zimmerman was pronounced "Not Guilty". That isn't the same as being pronounced innocent. Both Trayvon and Zimmerman could have handled things better and both made mistakes in my book. LEGAL mistakes, but still mistakes nonetheless that without either of those mistakes, this tragic situation could have been prevented. But that is 20/20 hindsight at this point. Now, Trayvon's attack is not a LEGAL mistake, but an illegal one there I'll admit. I was referring to his confrontation, not the actual assault by Trayvon. Trayvon, could have just walked away as well.

Zimmerman's mistake is something that he will have to live with the rest of his life and I feel he will suffer for it. And by suffer, I mean he will have to live with the fact he killed someone and I think that honestly does hurt the man inside. I feel he is a descent man, that meant well. He doesn't deserve being made into a monster by the media nor idiots like Sharpton.

maybe god forgives his sin
There was no sin to forgive.

but l see following provoking and stalking a person and then killing him because he was provoked to attack you and then being found not guilty is not fair either

police tells him to stop following but he ignores
You obviously do not know the evidence to say such a thing.
Learn the evidence.

l know if he was found guilty

it would hurt many of you oscaR

That isn't the same as being pronounced innocent.
That is an excuse.
Folks who use that don't go around saying the opposite when someone is convicted. They don't go around saying; A guilty verdict doesn't mean the person committed a crime.
While both are technically correct, they are nothing but excuses.

When someone is acquitted, it means they are not guilty. Period.
It also means that the presumption of innocence is still in effect.

I doubt it would have hurt Oscar, me, or anyone else. I did not hold an emotional attachment to this trial like many of Trayvon's supporters have. If Zimmerman would hvae been found guilty, I, and many others would have simply continued our lives.

hi sweety:2wave:

l cant know the US laws better than you of course

but l see following provoking and stalking a person and then killing him because he was provoked to attack you and then being found not guilty is not fair either

Except he did quit following and was headed back to his car when Martin jumped him. Why do you continue to ignore the facts and evidence of the case?

Did you spit foam out your mouth when typing that too angry man?

Sorry my point stands. I've said what I thought about Zimmerman and if you want to throw a little mantrum, be my guest.

As I've said before--Zimmerman is a liar, a killer and a coward.....
Killer ~ yes. Nothing wrong with that.
Coward? ~ Only in your imagination. And as that is subjective, it matters not.
Liar? Has not been proven. So you are just wrong all over the place.

It matters to me, to my family, to my friends and to most fair-minded people....
I doubt it does, and what you say about fair minded folks ... those are, and have been, the ones who support Zimmerman. So you are wrong about that.

I don't consider myself uninformed, as I followed this case closely.....Just because you people did not give credence to Rachael's testimony, doesn't mean that the rest of us didn't believe her.....
Highly unlikely that you did.
As for DeeDee, she is, and was, a liar.
Why should the jury believe a liar who said she lied to not upset the very same person who was sitting in the Court room when she was testifying?

Why do you believe her, as she is a liar.
You honestly think she could hear wet grass?
Considering her lies, and the circumstances surrounding her account, you are fooling yourself if you believe anything she said.

Three of those jurors went into that jury room with their verdict of Not Guilty already reached..Three did not.
Wrong!
They all had reached a verdict.

Those three capitulated on one point and one point only, based on jury instructions which incorporated the stand your ground law---the mindset of Zimmerman at the second that he pulled the trigger.... I would bet that they now regret their decision, but it's too dam late..... There should have been a hung jury at worst, a manslaughter verdict at best.......
Following the law, is not capitulation.

And they didn't just go over the jury instructions. They went over the evidence first. They then went on to the law and then to the instructions.

And when a person is holding an opinion that is contrary to the law and it gets shown to them what the law says, they changed their opinion to conform with the law. That is all.

Had the law not been in Zimmerman's favor, you would have seen those three not-guilties, tuned into guilty of one of the others.
But as it was the law was in his favor.

No--that juror who spoke out showed her contempt for Rachael --her prejudice about "those" people, how "they" think and "their" environment......
Bs! She said she felt sorry for her.

You really need to listen to what she said in totality, not just want you want to hear.

In most other states he would have been found Guilty.....
Wrong!
