Constitutional Carry bill pending in Ohio

So glad I can just fly over this backward red state and never have to set foot on that filthy red soil... (y) ✈️
more silly trolling bullshit. Are you ever going to post something on this sub-forum that is not baiting nonsense?

How many times did that actually happen?
Hmm how did Biden and Harris get into office? Unknown at this time.
Absentee voting works very well in states where it's allowed, but righties, who hate voting rights, want to impede this.
OR. votes by mail and it sucks. They mail shit out way to soon besides, the person I voted for dropped out way before elections.

No they just said the streets would run red with blood and there would be shootouts over parking spaces.
at first, it was a prediction by the anti rights advocates. then it became a blatant lie

Well, that part was actually true enough fella.

It’s not about aiding hunting. If you don’t see why someone may have a sidearm under their jacket , thus making it concealed then I can’t help you. We know a shotgun isn’t portable so you’re not taking one of them out in the woods, and I’m talking about stuffing a rifle down their pants to head into the woods.

I generally carry my single six 22 because 00buck is overkill on a copperhead

Er no, why would a hunter need a side arm if he's carrying a great big powerful rifle ?

In case he's a really bad shot and needs to draw a pistol fast to down a charging rabbit ?

why would you shoot a pest with a 2 dollar a shot big game cartridge?

OK.

Never once had to do that though, it never was necessary for me so far to pull out a gun and shoot someone. Not once.
It only takes that one time you need it and you don't get do overs or a second life.
I suppose that it is a remote possibility, but I think the chances are far greater that carrying a gun around 24/7 would be a great big pain in the ass.
24/7? do you think you go to bed with it or bath with it. Just sitting here typing I don't have it but it's handy and no I don't have any little kids, nor am I expecting any to rush in the door. Pain in the ass or not it's that pain that says HEY I'm alive.
It would be a hassle, I'd have to worry if I could be breaking a serious law by having it on me in a prohibited area, so I'd have to figure out a way to lock it securely in my car, or office, or some freaking where.
That's why you are aware as possible of the laws in your area. We have stores here that say "no weapons allowed" on the doors but only show a picture of a knife and if it shows a gun that's one of those oops to bad what gun. Even if they wanted to do a search (fat chance) the most they can do is ask you to leave.
Chances are also decent that I could get into an altercation with another person, and instead of a couple of minor fistfights like I have had in my life, those encounters could have easily ended in someone getting shot instead.
When I was younger so did I, but I'm not younger now and can't afford that kinda shit anymore at all. I would rather not be the one getting shot because "well" it was to much of a hassle to carry.
And ditto if the other guy had been armed, I could have been shot. But carrying a gun doesnt prevent being shot anyway.
I don't think anyone said it doesn't prevent getting shot, but it doesn't hurt to be on equal footing.
I, like the vast majority of people, do not have the temperament to carry a firearm around everywhere, it would have been of zero real use for me thus far (since I never once had to have a gun to save my life), and it easily could have been stolen, accidentally left somewhere, accidentally discharged while handling, or used to get into an unnecessary shootout that never would have happened had I not been armed.
Then you sound like the type of person that probably shouldn't carry a gun if you can't control your temper better. If concealed right how does anyone know your even carrying to steal it? Even if your printing like hell or reach for something and your shirt or whatever rides up they still have to get it.
A shootout would happen armed or not if it was going to happen, how would that deter the other guy since we will assume he's intent on robbing you, or are you the type to just give them what they want.
Carrying guns around is not a great idea, and is a horrible policy for the general public to have. No person should have to have that explained to them.
Looking at it from my side I think it's a good policy and idea. And no person should have to have that explained to them.

No they just said the streets would run red with blood and there would be shootouts over parking spaces.

They said that for every state that went permitless carry. After it passes....then nothing, no wild west the liberals make it out to be.

Do you look to Gubmint to get your que on what to think?
It would seem you do.
heh heh. Figures.
Of course it figures you do
And how do you figure that "every state disagrees with me", lol thats silly.
It's some of the state legislatures that agree with you while most of the people don't.
Let's use OR. as an example. Democrat house and senate (heavily). Portland and Eugene are in their pockets and that is where most of the votes come from (when we are allowed).

Your life has been in danger every time you've been near someone with a gun? And you're still here to tell those stories? Do you attribute this to pure dumb luck, or claim some amazing superpowers?
Maybe the next time he's in the checkout line he should start asking people around him if they are carrying firearms because he's afraid for his life. I bet there are a lot more around him then he ever realized.

It is up in the air if Governor DeWine will sign it-in 2004 CCW was passed over the veto of RINO Governor Bob Taft. There are plenty of hard core second amendment supporters who might not be huge fans of CC for concealed carry.

*LMAO* How far gone is the Republican Party when an Ohio Taft is called a "RINO"?

Back in the 40's, his grandfather was literally referred to as "Mr. Republican"... the cornerstone of the right wing of the party. Now they're RINOs.

I worked for him. It was sad to see him become a RINO

Got news for you.... it wasn't him. The whole party has lurched into extremism and intolerance.

Do you seriously believe that if Bob Taft, Sr. were still alive that he'd be worshipping at the feet of Trump? You'd be calling him a RINO too.

Trump is not relevant these days.

Don't kid yourself.

All you've got to do to be the Republican nominee is to be the furthest to the right on the stage. Nobody is going to out-bullshit the nation's greatest bullshitter.
Speaking of bullshit

Speaking of bullshit

Trump is never going to be irrelevant until he stops breathing or until everything he stands for is repudiated by Republicans themselves. That's just a fact.
He's your cancer... and he's going to keep coming back until you deal with it.

Democrats will never stop whining about Trump in order to avoid talking about the incompetence of Biden

Biden is the most competent President this country has ever had. Keep that in mind as you drive by all the construction you see this summer.

You are absolutely right. It forced the rest of the non-carrying public to get licensed. I did. Unfortunately, crime is rising here, so any talk about being safer with an armed public is one fuc*ing joke;

"In all, there have been 112 homicides in 2021, up to the end of July. This surpasses the last two years during the same time."
It's gone up in places that don't have constitutional carry as well.

I don't think it's connected.

that's got to be either the most stupid thing I have seen on this board in months or the funniest thing
