Are both parties risking creating even more independents with their lack of leadership, partisan games and other general stupidity?
Me either. Kucinich is about the only Dem who can inspire me to feel anything other than disgust for the party at the moment.Well, I sure don't feel very inspired by the Democrats.

Is it time to unveil my plan for the Pragmatist's Party?
Should our motto be, "whatever works," or "leave your melodrama at the door?"
Can't both parties compromise and agree to increase taxes and cut spending? That would cut the deficit a lot and restore a little more faith to both parties.
Yet they are idiots and like most politicians, know nothing about compromise and the greater good.
That's why a friend of mine said: Diapers and politicians need to be changed often for the same reason
What's wrong with Independents that creating them would be such a risk? Beyond the mere fact that as Independents we don't have to refer to a long-winded partisian political party platform to determine what we think about issues, that is.

I'm impressed with the Republicans, right now, for holding their ground--for the most part.
Impressed with a handful of GOP holding the party and the country hostage because they refuse to accept anything less than their demands ? ...me thinks that most of the country in the end will disagree with you
As apposed to the Democrats who refuse to give in and expect their own demands to be met. Do you really not see that both sides are to blame here.

I say no because both sides want this done their way and voters have short attention spans and short term outrage.
