  • Carlin was so damn funny before he got old and cranky.

Thanks for the likeage, bubba. Hope all is well with you.
I don't want to derail that thread, but Spider-Man (2002) - Praises moral virtue (hard-working teenager, devout aunt and well-meaning uncle) and pokes fun at liberals (entertainers and journalist). Hero chooses abstinence. This was one of the most profitable films ever made.

Hey, sweetie! Another time. It's a bit late right now, and I want a couple of hours of playing ME2, because after seeing Wake's latest nauseating attention-whore thread I want to kill me something!!
The vast majority of servicemembers could care less if they serve with open gays or not. There are some that will grumble and try to make a big deal about it, but they are few and far between. I know a few who will bring up possibilities about what might happen, but no one has threatened to do anything in my presence anyway, such as leaving the military or taking care of the gay guys in private. Most put their position as if they are talking about someone else who is uncomfortable with it.

And I knew a lot of guys in the Marines who actually knew openly gay marines in combat units. In fact, one marine came out to his buddy on my lanai while I was in Hawaii. It was pretty funny. The straight one was more upset that it was the second time that someone in their unit had come out first to him.

That quote is from Big Bang Theory. It has become one of my favorite shows. It appeals to my geekyness.
LOL! I am surrounded by testosterone at home (husband, brother, and 2 sons) and I have been the only woman in the workplace several times during my time in the Navy. I have no problem holding my own when I feel I am right and I go out of my way to try to back up my assertions. It definitely makes me feel better when I have something to back me up.

As for 1), thank you. A particular part or both? The quote is from one of my favorite series, the second part is a joke I started in the Navy while we were all complaining about politics and politicians one day. Most people don't really get it but I think it's funny.
Going with drunk. It just bothered me when I started paying attention how rude to Tessa he was being.
No, we are both so busy we barely talk right now... and I just got an infraction for calling somebody a moron
I guess I have been good. I have working a lot, so I haven't been around. I am going on a cruise tomorrow. :)
