Other. It's there in plain sight. Why did he not place his hand on the bible? And while we're at it, why did he bring his own bible? (for this question, fun answers are welcome!)
No.Edit to add: would this make his Presidency non-valid?
The Fox video says you are wrong.Other. CJ Roberts started swearing him in before Melania joined him with the Bible.

First lady Melania Trump held two Bibles — one given to Mr. Trump by his mother when he was a child,The Fox video says you are wrong.

Trump did not put his hand on the Bible at inauguration. Here's what to know about the tradition.
Images from the inauguration show President Trump did not put his hand on a Bible as he was sworn in by Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts. It is not required in the Constitution.www.cbsnews.com
I've never heard him say that. You're never at a loss to speak for him when he ****s up.Other.
Trump doesn't care all that much about taking part in useless traditions just for the sake of traditions.
With our diverse and varied religions, focusing on the bible makes it a useless tradition.
This and...he didn't want to burst into flames?Other. CJ Roberts started swearing him in before Melania joined him with the Bible.
He was avoiding the embarrassment of the Bible spontaneously combusting when he touched it!It's there in plain sight. Why did he not place his hand on the bible? And while we're at it, why did he bring his own bible? (for this question, fun answers are welcome!)

Ur kidding.. Right? I mean come on..Other. CJ Roberts started swearing him in before Melania joined him with the Bible.

U can't get more un-Christian than Trump.. Which makes the love affair Evangelicals have with him both funny, and sad as hell..
The so called war on Christianity is from the right not the left.. The hypocrisy from the right is off the charts..
I have 4 kids.. And their spouses.. None of them are religious.. The hypocrisy of the establishment religions and the private Jets, 14 million dollar mansons Evangelicals completely turned them off to religion..
LOL! Someone said she looked like "The Hamburgler"!Melania and her cartoon villain outfit is awesome.
As to why Donny Boy didn't put his hand on the Bible? Who knows. Most of these things I attribute to him being an idiot who doesn't prepare for anything.
To be fair, I wouldn't do either. It's a meaningless gesture. It would mean more if a politician was sworn in over the Constitution rather than the bible. It's there in plain sight. Ok, that is funny!LOL! Someone said she looked like "The Hamburgler"!
Then u just proved our point about why Evangelicals love him so much.. Can't be the Bible, or religion.. What is it?To be fair, I wouldn't do either. It's a meaningless gesture. It would mean more if a politician was sworn in over the Constitution rather than the bible.
