Why did Trump not put his hand on the bible when he was sworn in?

  • He really is not religious

  • He's afraid he'll burn in hell for what he's about to do

  • He does not want to TRUELY swear an oath to the Constitution

  • He did not know he was suppose to!

I'm sure Justice Roberts would notice that Trump was looking to Melania and the Bible, and all the grownups would make the best of the situation.
I think the reason Trump didn't put a hand on the Bible is that he just forgot.

Melania was not in position when the oath started. Take a look a Vance and Usha, even with kids in tow she was right there with him before he even started the oath.

The instant I put it on, I felt and smelt like a winner. I talked my way out of a speeding ticket, my 401k crossed 6 figures and I shot par at Torrey in the same afternoon. Amazing product.
