Your Bibi-hate isn’t relevant here.

Not when you read Hamas’s founding charter it isn’t.

Bibi is literally on trial for corruption charges. He shouldn’t be within a million miles of power in a functioning democracy.

Hamas’ actions are little different than those Israel did to drive the British out.

If Israel ever had potential, that potential has passed the Rubicon. It's now a right-wing apartheid state, one of the worst elements on the global stage.

As I’ve said before, citations from Hamas’s founding charter really need to be posted in every conversation about Israel and what it’s up against: So let's again look at what Hamas aspires to be. These are passages taken directly from their founding document:
  • Israel will exist and will continue to exist until Islam will obliterate it, just as it obliterated others before it. (Preamble)
  • The Islamic Resistance Movement is a distinguished Palestinian movement, whose allegiance is to Allah, and whose way of life is Islam. It strives to raise the banner of Allah over every inch of Palestine. (Article 6)
  • The Day of Judgment will not come about until Moslems fight Jews and kill them. Then, the Jews will hide behind rocks and trees, and the rocks and trees will cry out: 'O Moslem, there is a Jew hiding behind me, come and kill him. (Article 7)
  • [Peace] initiatives, and so-called peaceful solutions and international conferences are in contradiction to the principles of the Islamic Resistance Movement... Those conferences are no more than a means to appoint the infidels as arbitrators in the lands of Islam... There is no solution for the Palestinian problem except by Jihad. Initiatives, proposals and international conferences are but a waste of time, an exercise in futility. (Article 13)
  • Palestine is an Islamic land... Since this is the case, the Liberation of Palestine is an individual duty for every Moslem wherever he may be. (Article 13)
  • The day the enemies usurp part of Moslem land, Jihad becomes the individual duty of every Moslem. In the face of the Jews' usurpation, it is compulsory that the banner of Jihad be raised. (Article 15)

Is there any way to describe this other than barbaric?

It might. It might get Israelis to stop electing an aggressive war hawk like Netanyahu who then keeps sabotaging the peace process and a two-state solution.

So Netanyahu holds up peace talks more than Hamas and Abbas. Interesting thought.

No different than we were early in our history as a country

Yes, that’s a reasonable counter example, but it doesn’t compare to the sustained terror campaign from the PLO and then Hamas.

There were sustained attacks on Arab villages throughout the period. It was far from exclusive to Deir Yassin.

What is beyond humane comprehension, is how can a people, who want the world to always give them homage and draw attention to the mass slaughger they suffered at the hands of the Nazi's... but they want no one to know the mass slaughter done to the Palenstienans during the taking of their land, to give it to People who call themselves Jewish. When many of them came from places scattered across Europe.

quote
The Jews are, by circumstances, a migratory people. This people group has, because of anti-Semitic targeting, lived all over the world. Jews have controlled Palestine for less than half of the time since their identity as a people group more than 3500 years ago. In one of the more recent situations, in the years leading up to the twentieth century, a large majority of the Hebrew people lived in the pale of Russia.

That part of history came to a sudden end in 1881, when Tsar Alexander II of Russia was assassinated. The ruler’s murder was blamed on the Jewish people (most of the conspirators were Russian Orthodox), which led to a series of pogroms against the Jewish people because they were not Christians. Villages and towns were destroyed, and many people were murdered and there was large scale suffering.

The Jews sought to escape the persecution. Some moved to Austria (where protests broke out), France, England and the United States. Others began to look at Israel, the land of their fore bearers. A small number of Jewish people had resided in the land we now call Israel since antiquity.

Except there’s no evidence to support the contention that they will, or that such a war would happen at all.

Your argument is fearmongering and not based in reality.

Hahahahaha

Israel engaged in the exact same behavior against the British.

Funny how that doesn’t bother you.

Well that is just completely wrong.

Pretty sure as far as we know it was the canaanites who first lived there. Who were conquered by the Israelites.

It definitely wasn’t the Israelites and they did take something from someone.

According to the modern archaeological account, the Israelites and their culture branched out of the Canaanite peoples and their cultures through the development of a distinct monolatristic—and later monotheistic—religion centred on the national god Yahweh.
