According to BLS we are, on average. Wages grew 3.1% inflation was in low 2's. And with growing job market prospects for wage increases are strong.

But, let's get real. If you have low skills don't count on massive raises. If you're trainable and enthusiastic I think things will go well for you. The more you know the better off you'll be.

I hate to say it but if our troops, their families and those who believe POTUS lies, are looking for a 10% raise in their next check, then they're being played as suckers

Biggest they ever received is maybe true. They have gotten not just one in the last 10 years, but 10. That is what we call a lie from Trump. And Trump did not get it for them. He simply signed what congress sent him.

They had plenty of people that came up. They said, ‘You know, we could make it smaller. We could make it 3 percent. We could make it 2 percent. We could make it 4 percent.’ I said, ‘No. Make it 10 percent. Make it more than 10 percent.’ Because it’s been a long time. It’s been more than 10 years. It’s been more than 10 years.

It was not a 10 % raise. "They" did not try and make it smaller, not did Trump try and make it bigger. Trump requested the standard raise. This is documented in his very own budget request.

As I've mentioned, been there done that. I'm not even sure what straw it was that broke the camels back for me within the past months. It's been exhausting to keep ignoring common sense just to stay true to my candidate. It's been like trying to block a leak in a screen door.

Obama's first acts of office were across the board pay raises for military:

January 2008: 3.5%
January 2009: 3.9%
January 2010: 3.4%

AND a LARGE increase to the VA budget, one of the few measures that the Democratic "supermajority" which was only for 72 days, managed to push through. I'll look up how much the VA increase was, but it was one of the largest they've ever had.

The troops who heard him say they're getting a 10% raise shouldn't take their C-I-C literally? Was the withdrawal order of troops from Syria not a serious announcement. Just when are they supposed to take his words both seriously and literally?

Any way it's turned, it doesn't go in his favor. No raises for 10 years? Completely false. No big raises in more than ten years? That would include 2008 3.5, 2009 3.9 and 2010 3.4. Those are the biggest raises in the past 10 years. The last time a raise was 2.4 was 1996. Everything past that was higher until 2011.

You are taking it out of context. If you look at their raises this was one of the biggest that they have had in ten years. That is true. It is not the biggest and it has not be literally ten years but nitpicking over a statement like that, that is not meant literal, is really pretty feeble. There are real issues out there and harping on every little thing he says trying to find a lie or racism is just lame.
