Trump orders rapid withdrawal from Syria in apparent reversal

Case and point. Worthless bait.

I've known you now for over a decade. I guess shame on me for ever thinking you actually are representing yourself truthfully. My bad.

Aw, you poor thing. You start dishonest threads and make dishonest posts and I call you out. Try making an honest argument one time and maybe you will get better responses. Keep lying and you get what you get.

Putin just lives rent free in way too many liberal heads.

There has to be a time to withdraw troops otherwise we have an endless war like Korea

OK, but from what I understand there are still and estimated 2K to 5K ISIS fighters left in Eastern Syria. Trump is also fairly desperate to get funding for the Great Wall Of Trump and has run out of time before Pelosi makes that mission impossible.

It's crazy how he made a prerecorded video and refuses to take questions. He will not offer an explanation, other than the Trumpian, we won, type of statement.

He is against the wall in investigations and worried about impeachment, then does this. He is so desperate, but wtf does Putin have on him. This has to be treason.

The next president can come back and reverse all the sanctions he lifted on Russia. I hope Trump and Putin get fully exposed for this.

I kind of hope the next president reverses the lifted sanctions trump does for his master, then adopts Ukraine into NATO and the UN. Put that **** on his heels since Putin's objective seems to be, much like republicans, to stay eternally on the offense.

The thought has occurred to me that this "out of the blue" decision to end the Syrian chapter of the (endless?) war on terror just might be in order to create some (suddenly no longer needed?) funds which could then be "repurposed" for funding the Great Wall Of Trump. I hope that is not the case but would not rule it out as a possible Trump "business decision".

Actually I think after the week he just had he's desperate to change the news cycle and get some kind of praise for something. Could be the just beginnings of the slippery slope this President's increasing paranoia, isolation and desperation is threatening to send us and the world down.

Too cute. Like I said, my bad for ever taking you seriously. Oh... and lulz at you, of all people, preaching about "honesty".

The news is not going to praise Trump no matter what.

Remember during the Cheney years when right-wingers loved them some wars on brown people in the middle east? Good times.

The news is not going to praise Trump no matter what.

That unfortunately is true. He is way past any fence-mending; didn’t have to be this way, or maybe it was pre-ordained.....

We need to understand that we got not just beaten in Syria, we got humiliated.

And now it is time to go home in shame.

WE LOST

Where is my dishonesty? My characterization of you is spot on. I post things that I may be wrong about, but I dont lie. You, on the other hand, post lies as you did in the Tucker Carlson thread, and when your lies are pointed out, you keep right on lying. So yeah, I can preach honesty to you any day and every day. And I usually do.

ISIS in Syria are not a threat anymore and do you want to escalate chances of the US and Russia getting into a shooting war? The US already killed 200 Russians when do you think Russian might shoot back.

Don't know if I would bet on that. Experts estimate that ISIS still has 20,000 to 30,000 fighters in Syria and Iraq. If ISIS re surges again in the vacuum who is going help us put them down again now that we just turned our backs on our most reliable ally in the fight against them there?

Oh wow... Probably the most words you ever posted in one thread. Your questions are dishonst. Your schtick is to ask fake bait questions to make your opposition run around and do a lot of work to which you just dismiss out of hand with no effort. It's who you are fletch. Dishonest is the polite way to put it.

And and Lulz at you pretending you have the high ground on tucker's "context".

Tucker's true context I posted in with a full quote of what he said and what is running off his advertisers. What you are providing is just fletch dishonest spin on that. Nothing more.

There is no vacuum, Russia, turkey and Iran are there, they have this.

WE LOST!

Probably not since it is next to Iran - the "presence in the region" excuse will likely prevail.

And Iran doesn't have a large presence in Syria? If Trump thinks he's not winning in Afghanistan he will likely do what he has always done in that situation. Cut and run.

Turkey really wants us out so they can go in and get rid of all those pesky Kurds. Still - nobody in the White House or the Pentagon can answer a question about this. You have to consider it is just another tweet in the wind. A tantrum because he was forced to back off funding his wall.

You know I used to care about the Kurds but they cant resist being assholes.

**** EM

PSST: We lost...the consequences of that are that we dont get a say anymore.

Looks like Putin snapped his fingers again and made trump his bitch yet again...

Trump orders rapid withdrawal from Syria in apparent reversal

Planning is underway for a "full" and "rapid" withdrawal of US troops from Syria, a US defense official told CNN Wednesday.

The decision, which would be a reversal from previously stated US policy, was made by President Donald Trump, who has long signaled his desire to get out of Syria, the official added. On Wednesday morning, the President tweeted, "we have defeated ISIS in Syria, my only reason for being there during the Trump Presidency."

1. I disagree with this decision. I think we're going to regret not finishing ISIS off. If anyone claims ISIS is done and that's why we can go home.... well, they're wrong.

2. That being said, this is a policy decision Trump has wanted for some time, and in the middle of that, we got into an actual shooting conflict with the Russians, and Trump authorized us bombing Russian proxy/client actors.

Don't let opposition make you foolish. Too many do that on both sides.

We are not pulling out of Iraq. Jets and drones still can fly over Syria. We can still arm the Kurds no sense Americans dying in Syria unless you want to volunteer to go fight there. Would you put your life at risk to fight in Syria?
