The pledge of allegiance must be mandatory. We pay the bills the kids should salute. I recommend every Patriotic high school jock enforce it on Monday

We could organize the high-school jocks into quasi-military units, giving the leaders tasers or cattle-prods and the ranks billy-clubs, black-jacks or brass knuckles to cower the anti-American kids into line. We should also consider giving the patriotic youths immunity, but if our hold on the various courts persists, it won't really be needed.

This is unironically more anti-American than pro-American. It goes against the very foundational ideals of this country.

I think it's up to the parents whether they want their kids to pledge allegiance to their parents.

Of course the Pledge should be mandatory. Following the Pledge we'll have the mandatory singing of the national anthem followed by the mandatory oath of fealty. Then the mandatory weapons inspection and cleaning.

I agree. @Andyh2299 and all other children must pledge allegiance to me on Monday, otherwise the jocks shall have their way with them.
 
From the reactions I have seen so far looks like @Andyh2299's thread went sideways, probably as a result of not thinking before posting.

When you conservatives actually adhere to the pledge of allegiance, let us know. Because right now, you all don’t:
 
Children are legally incompetent to make any pledge. And so compelling the pledge of allegiance is commissioning a crime.

There shouldn't even BE a pledge. At best, it is teaching children to lie.
