    Yes, he was my little buddy. He and his ancient fellow wiener dog Tbone absolutely ruled the house. He says hello to yours. We are an unofficial home for old dogs. Are latest is a 13 year old fluff ball of a poodle who thinks she's three but is deaf as a doornail.

    She's very cute. When I was a child our spaniel went deaf. My mother said she then lived in a quiet world and didn't have to worry about who was coming to the door!

    Wiener dogs and our poodle are famous for speed rolling onto their bellies for rubs. When Rod (the avatar) was very old, i would hold him like a baby and gently rub his belly and give him joint massages for hours.

    I had a Royal Standard Poodle for four years after my mother remarried to my stepfather. I was 17 and didn’t know that dogs lay their heads in people’s laps to get petted. I pretended to ignore him until he pushed his head up my arm almost to my armpit. I had to pet him at that point.
