you are missing the boat. You are arguing as though religion is merely something made up that may or may not be correct that is only there to influence how people act. That is bullshit. Religion, concerning Catholicism, is an instutition installed by God himself that provides an intermediate between God and Man. It is a voice that continuously rejoices in the message given by Christ himself 2 thousand years ago. Man has been reconciled through the blood of the innocent sacrifice.

God wanted us to have respect for human life so he said thow shall not kill, he didnt say it because he wanted to make a rule he said it for a purpose. If you only followed that rule becuase it was a rule you wouldn't be getting the full effect, to care for you fellow humans.

I was meaning about eternal life, as promised. I do know eternity means yesterday, this moment and tomorrow simultaneously. And that´s why I don´t believe I have afterlife.

Eternity is undivided being. Time, however, is divided into sequence. Therefore, it is properly called "after life" because it is after the divided time.

As i said earlier, the Word of God, aside from its basic message, has certain consequential inferences. Among them: The jews are condemned. I explained this in another thread, but alas, i shall repeat myself.

Life comes from Christ and from Christ alone. However, the Jews deny Christ. Therefore, as is said in John 6, the bread of life discourse:

Therefore, the jews have no life within them. They are perpetually guilty, and perpetually condemned. Interesting thought, though necessarily wrong. Because time proceeds from eternity, and is founded in eternity, there would be no existence were eternity nothing. Rather, Eternity must be the entirety of all possibilities.

whoooah, lets be clear on something. I don't have to accept anything. I accept Aquinean logic, Catholic Doctrine, and the bible. Anything that goes against that must be declared inherintly wrong. For example, there is no such thing as aliens. John 1:1. God's creation is described as the following: "And what came to be through him was the life, and the life was the light of the human race. The light shines in darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it" Because Humans are described as light in darkness, and darkness is often symbolic for emptiness and void, it must be declared that humans alone have the title of "sentient life" in this universe.
