Spend $1,000 in two stores....

I need a new vacuum, preferably a canister vacuum.
I was impressed with the one I used, so I guess Amazon, would like a new Mobo (Amazon again) and possibly Lowes for some repainting supplies for the Bathroom.

You know, this is going to sound silly, but the best vacuum I've ever had was a Shark Navigator. It's more costly than your average vacuum (runs $150ish) but is on par with a Dyson. I beat the hell out of vacuum cleaners, and I also have a german shepherd, so I vacuum every day. The Navigator has a lift-off canister, and I've had it for almost 2 years now and it hasn't lost suction yet. I was hesitant about getting it at first because I thought it was just some cheesy thing I saw on an infomercial. It had a money back guarantee, though, so I pulled the trigger. Glad I did. It's all I'll ever buy now.

Woodworkers source for some exotic hard woods.
Rocklers for additional wood lathe tools.

I've been eyeballing that laser that can cut precision inlay pieces *drool*

But well over the $1000 limitation we've been given,

My wife's friend let us borrow her Kenmore.
It's magnificent, although that one cost about $300.

I'm thinking of getting an LG for us though.

I broke down and bought a Shark because my hair is all over my house all the time. My clunky Bissell couldn't suck it all up so my carpets were never really clean. My Shark works great.

Yup. We were going through a vacuum a year, easy. Pay $50, $60, $70 every time. I even went all out once, and spent a couple thousand on a Hyla. Still didn't pick up like this $150 Shark Navigator does.

I bought mine off the TV, but they sell them at Lowe's, Walmart, etc. Mine came with a free Shark Steam Mop. It's one of the reasons I bought it. I didn't keep the Steam Mop, though. Sold it on Craigslist for $40. I just didn't feel like it cleaned my floors the way I wanted them too. It cleans without chemicals, and honestly, if my floors don't smell like Pine Sol, I don't think they are clean.

easy removable canister, too, so no bags. The entire canister lifts off and you can clean stairs with it, or whatever. Comes with lots of attachments, too. I swear, it picks up dog hair better than any vacuum I've ever had.

Sears and Lowes

West Marine and Macys.

Cabela's and Gander Mountain

Cabela's is a good choice.

I'm surprised Democrats haven't tried to shut those down. I bet a survey would show 90% of Cabela shoppers oppose Obama.

Expedia.com and Victoria's Secret.

Great idea....Expedia yourself to Honolulu and shop the Victoria's Secret Waikiki.

Hmmm.....you might want to hit Josie up for a few more bucks before you go though.
