save face, you are the one who was incorrect in what I had posted. when I pointed out you were wrong, you engaged in a 180 degree change over what I said.

what proof do you have that I have "no clue about transsexuals/ I am quite aware of the steps they go through and the legal status of pre and post op trannies. And given I am active in a National Governing Body for an Olympic Sport, I am quite aware of the athletic implications of transsexuals. I have also dealt with suits involving incarcerated pre-op and post op transsexuals

so tell me what exactly do you have in terms of experience and education that trumps that

and tell me what knowledge you have on gun issues that remotely compares with the experience I have had dealing with transsexual issues

Lol! just like you have a friend that is transexuals lol! You keep saying you are an attorney. However, what I find funny that yet again you were wrong. For a person that is on the a National Governing Body of am Olympic sport to not know what a pre-op and post op transexual is pretty sad. Furthermore the personal attacks you have made against me is another.

They should be placed in whatever place they are least likely to sexual assault others or be sexually assaulted themselves. I think that can be done on a case-by-case basis.

Yup. Someone mid-transition, or who opted to stop at semi-transitioned, is probably a lot more vulnerable than a fully-transitioned person.

your main rant is over my depiction of chaz bono when I claimed he was post op

since I have never examined him naked or even met him I can only go on reports

and I am an expert on transsexuals' rights to compete in the olympic movement due to my position as chair of a board of justice for a NGb.

so tell me what makes you an expert and I stayed at home last night with my family as if that has any relevance

I am an expert on sports law when it comes to the olympic governing body That is why I have been appointed to resolve issues concerning olympic athletes for a NGB.

I was using wiki to discuss the actual status of ONE individual who I believed to be Post Op based on the claims I have heard made in the media

I already have Bono has not had the bottom sergury lol. Read the entire thread which you still have not. Plus I doubt you are on any governing body. If you were you would know the differance between Post op and Pre op which you do not so please stop.

post op is post operative ie where someone has had an "addadictome" surgery
pre op is living as the opposite sex and the hormonal therapies

btw what post of mine demonstrated a lack of knowledge of the difference

A whole lot

"Pre-op" means they have not had an operation yet, what we'd usually call "sexual reassignment surgery" (pre= before, op=operation). Although that covers a wide range of procedures, people generally take it to mean some form of genital surgery, but it doesn't necessarily have to mean that

"Post-op" means after surgery (post=after, op=operation). Generally speaking it's after they've had SRS. Some people identify as "post-op transsexual" or a "post-op" transgender person, but there's also those who just identify as male or female since they've been through the sergical process.

but you first claimed I said he was pre op (wrong) and then you said I was wrong for saying he was Post op (you contradicted yourself)

I couldn't care what Bono is. it was not really important

my main point is that post op trannies ought to be in prison with the same sex they have become and pre op ought to be in prison with the same sex as they were born as

that's what the brother of my friend who is a male to female transsexual said when I ran into him

I said-how are you handling your brother's change. and he laughed and said he never figured his little brother would get a slitintome from the surgeon.

It is a really good question. I don't know what I'd do with them. I guess strength and size should be taken into consideration. If we put someone who was born a male into an all-women's facility, that person could pretty much rule the place because "she" would probably have the advantage of strength over the other female inmates. It doesn't really matter if they are postop or preop because I don't think it makes THAT much of a difference in strength and size.

Maybe the best idea would be to have a designated area in prisons for these people, not solitary confinement but just separated from the general population. I'm thinking that these people would be targets of other inmates no matter what.

Of course, like others have said, the very BEST thing would be to stay out of jail to begin with, but we all know that's not going to happen. :lol:

You could put the female version of Mr. Universe in a men's prison and she'd be passed around like a 2 pound joint.

I don't think I would choose to spend already sliced-thin taxpayer dollars to create a whole other section for trannies or "it"s or whatever.

Best case scenario, you throw them in a psych ward. Probably makes the most sense.
