Manafort team files response under seal to allegations that he lied to investigators


Diverse, coherent and fact based.... including the actual law of conspiracy from that Trump hating Department of Justice. Again, I let you know where I am coming from with other credible people that back up what I say. That is something that apparently you can not do. As far as we know you get all of your information out of your head, at best.

Sorry that you don't have command of the terms of collusion and conspiracy. If you collude to defraud the government by facilitating the involvement of a foreign government to influence the outcome of our election (whether they actually effect the outcome or not, but you take steps to help them) your collusion is a crime. The official charge would be "Conspiracy against the United States".

Rudi wants to tell people that collusion is not a crime. Technically that is correct, but practically it is misleading, as its intended to be. Sorry you were misled, you weren't that only one.

1. It is immoral and it proves that the Trump campaign did collude with the Russians (even if that in itself is not a crime, other things might be that are related to this issue).

2. it is not up to us to decide whether or not something is a crime

3. he is charged with lying about it and that is a crime when you have a plea deal in place

Actually, it's being reported his attorneys made the mistake, not Manafort himself.

He has not had a trial. He was accused and jailed without the chance of rebuttal from the defense. He is there on a court order pushed by Mueller.

The judge ordered him place in prison, and was placed in solitary "for his protection" per Muellers request.

So for **** sake yourself for not putting in the time to get the story.

BTW, Mueller is creating crimes as he goes and and so far has none on Trump. And if he has anything it's not important enough to put a rush on it as if the republic is at stake.

The "solitary" is actually him being in a VIP wing without roommates. He's not in a ****in hole. He has a laptop and a phone.

He wasn't placed in solitary for "his own protection," he was placed in solitary for witness tampering.

How many facts of this case have you just ****ing invented!?

Found guilty of crimes that 1) the DOJ already knew about and passed on, and 2) have exactly nothing to do with President Trump.
 

The tampering charges were not proven. They don't have to be. Mueller got the judge to jail him to disadvantage his defense. You can assume the judge got the word stop pushing back on Mueller's witch hunt. The judge has been quiet as a church mouse.

Cell phone and a lap top and prison internet. You don't think Mueller's boys would be listening, do you? Even Cohen's appointed "Special Master"* is accused of leaking to Mueller. I love how liberals rationalize someone they don't like rights being **** on, but if it's one of theirs, "Katy bar the door". Legally, Mueller is getting away with putting total pressure on a witness to force him to lie. There is no other reason for prison or solitary confinement. It could be handled at his home.

There is nothing to say that Manafort's attorney's did that accidentally.

Right now in the case against Leonid Teyf, American attorney's are attempting to use legal proceedings to extract information in the Mueller investigation and give it directly to Russia. There is evidence this is happening right now, based on willful actions by at least one American attorney in a similar case. Teyf of course got his fortune in kickbacks from helping the same guy who is indicted for the troll farm stuff (Putin's chef). So many ties.

Brazen.

just because you don't seem to have an issue with what to some degree is treason to the US and it's people, doesn't mean others do think it is a crime and if Mueller thinks crimes have been committed we will just have to wait and see what a court of law and a jury of peers says about it.

Also, lying to the FBI is a crime and really stupid if you are someone who had a plea deal.

Do tell...he has not had a trial? He has been convicted of 8 counts. With potentially more pending his plea deal.

May I point out to others that many (including me) have repeatedly told you (and documented with 3rd party support) that many of these things are indeed crimes. In fact, people around Trump have been charged and some plead guilty to some of these crimes. Crimes were committed.

... the only open question now is whether Trump, himself, is also guilty of some of these crimes or merely guilty of gross negligence in his hiring of so many criminals to direct his campaign and serve in his White House. We know Trump is guilty, we just haven't fully surveyed what he is guilty of....
