Finances is probably the largest factor if breaking up families. The nuclear family unit is generally a positive influence, but not always. It depends on the individuals involved. At least requiring financial independence reduces one of the largest factors if children being a burden on society.

One thing is for sure. There needs to be education on what it means to raise CHildren, how much h that ties u down and really alters your lifestyle.
