No one said it has been proven. But the experts who disagree with lab origin are mostly virologists who don't want their research to be restricted. Or medical authorities like Fauci, who don't want to be blamed.

Yes he is scary. He sees nothing wrong with the US supporting the research that probably caused the pandemic. He denies any responsibility, and he denies trying to cover it up. Even though there is proof that he did.

I "harped" on it because covering up his role in creating a pandemic is really not ok. Why do defend anything Fauci has done, no matter how awful?

1). No or knew that in the beginning because that’s not how that works. Plus: tgis is recent history. I lived this too and I like some I can recall what took place when. We didn’t know “from the beginning” COVID-19 “does nothing to the young”. A) that’s not true there are some number of young effected in the short term. There are some number more than that - and we won’t know that for awhile - who will be effected in the long term. 2) it was some time between 3 months (end of May) they were just starting to say, in numbers in and sources that carry any weight in medical science, that children weren’t as readily affected from being infected. Then no one knew if these unaffected infected kids could infect others.

2) Given ‘1A’ we suspected there was no way to tell how many those young might infect so they had to stay home too.

What point does it make to “protect the vulnerable” if you create conduits of the infected going out into the world and coming home to so they can infect them?

Unless of course you mean the old world Quarantine I referenced earlier, but instead you’re quarantining the vulnerable instead of the infected. The up to 6-7% that are vulnerable in some serious form get sent off to the leper colonies. ;)

Frankly, I have been an ICU RN for 40 years and NEVER has any flu season come remotely close to Covid.

Who cares, at this late date, where it originated? I sure don't. It came and it destroyed. It will always be with us. So, let's support our scientists who are still working to contain it and make it easier to overcome.

Where it came from was important. And definitely worth the time and effort to examine and come to conclusions.

While POTUS was ramming "kung flu" down our throats.....he should have been following the steps in the Pandemic Playbook.

And then what? It's here, it's done it's damage and will continue to do so but, to a lesser degree I hope. I agree with what you state what TFG should have done but what difference would knowing where it came from make now, or would it have made back then?

It may be important to know WHY it happened. But the question is ....now that it is here, wth do we do now? We failed in the beginning- when we had a chance to prevent the exponential nightmare we created.

But it is important to know how it occured. From a prevention of further epidemic point of view.

Guess what? Flu deaths in US has been between 12k-52k deaths per year for decades. World flu deaths have been under a million per year for decades, on average.

Explain how research in a Wuhan lab on making horseshoe bat coronaviruses able to infect humans could have caused a pandemic that started in Wuhan? And it's a horseshoe bat coronavirus that somehow became able to infect humans? And several workers at the WIV were hospitalized with a respiratory disease resembling covid shortly before the pandemic was announced?

This is a widely accepted theory now. You need it explained to you? You have not heard anything about it?

There are many virologists and epidemiologists who criticize the mainstream narrative. You just have not heard of them. Because the mainstream authorities and the drug industry don't want you to.
