Insurrectionists receiving LONG prison sentences!

have not fown played anything. I have pointed out facts.
By incessantly zeroing in on one specific charge and deliberately ignoring the larger picture? Yes, you are clearly trying to minimize the day’s horrific events. Hundreds of people engage in an insurrection - by the defintion of the word. Stomping your feet and saying “but only 12 people were charged with it” won’t change the reality of what occurred. Frankly, its a child’s argument.

It seems the ones making loony conspiracy claims of hundreds and thoudands of "insurrectionists" (when only 12 have been charged with anything remitely resembling insurrection) are the ones guilty of distorting reality, not me.
Again, hundreds of people engaged in an insurrection. That’s what happened. You, pouting about how many of what charges were brought changes nothing, and shows your position as being quite shallow.

Conspiracy nonsense.

Only 12 have been charged with anything REMOTELY RESEMBLING inusurrection.

12 so far. It was a biggish mob there, d'ya think maybe only a percentage was actually caught and charged?
Well, there certainly could have been more.

But it's conspiracy nuttery to assume there were hundreds and thousands, , when, after 2 years its unlikely there will be more charges remotely like insurrection.

There might have been a plot to set off a nuclear bomb.. lol. There might have been all sorts of things.

Yet not a single charge of insurrection has been forthcoming.

NOT A SINGLE CHARGE

And only a tiny handful of seditious conspiracy charges.

Where are you getting this "soooo many more"?
The DoJ seems to be afraid of that charge for some reason. How was the attack on the Capitol Police so they could apprehend, and threatening to hang, certain politicians not insurrection? They were threatening death, so is it simply because they didn't bear arms during the violent attack?

So your argument is, if a guy robs a bank and gets away with it, then he never robbed the bank! That's your "objective reality"?
Lol
No, my argument is, we wphldnt k ow who they are if they got away with it. According to the conspiracy nutters, they were caught on video from a thousand angles and still got way with it.
Yes, there were hundreds of insurrectionists storming the Capitol on January 6th. It's on video. Most of them got away without being charged with "insurrection." That's your "big point"?
i guess biden is in on the grand conspiracy to shiled them from justice for those serious crimes lol
They got away with it? They were, however, charged with lesser crimes, like corruptly obstructing or impeding an official proceeding, which is a felony.
Yea they were charged with what they actually did lol

Conspiracy nonsense.

Only 12 have been charged with anything REMOTELY RESEMBLING inusurrection.
You should probably look up the definition of the word. Again, hundreds of people engaged in insurrection that day. NOT talking about charges, but rather the reality of what happen at our Capitol that day. 1,000 people involved have been charged with various crimes. Logic tells you that only a fraction of those participating there that day have been charged with anything. People died and many were injured in the attack. Millions of dollars in damage. The reputational damage to our country is incalculable, in my opinion.

How do you spin the events of that day? More importantly, why do you insist on attempting to minimize the domestic terrorism we all witnessed?

^^They tried to overthrow the USA without guns? They literally tried to take control? Or was it the planted government agents to get an outcome they wanted? Do the math.

Lmfao

Hardly an insurrection.

Some people thought is was an erection…

The election was stolen, don’t you think people had a right to protest?

There were government plants.

Just a brief update on these traitors. And THESE are just the Oath Keeper traitors, there are soooo many more!

WASHINGTON, May 26 (Reuters) - Two members of the far-right Oath Keepers were sentenced to prison on Friday for their roles in the deadly Jan. 6, 2021, assault on the U.S. Capitol by supporters of Donald Trump who tried to overturn his presidential election defeat.

Kenneth Harrelson and Jessica Watkins were convicted in November by a federal jury in Washington of obstruction of an official proceeding for their roles in the storming of the Capitol, which saw rioters battle police, smash windows and send lawmakers running for their lives.

U.S. District Judge Amit Mehta on Friday sentenced Harrelson to four years in prison. Earlier on Friday, the judge imposed a prison sentence of eight and a half years for Watkins.

Harrelson was also found guilty of conspiring to prevent members of Congress from certifying President Joe Biden's election win as well as tampering with documents and proceedings. Watkins was also convicted of conspiracy and obstruction of officers during the riots.

"I am responsible, and my foolish actions have caused immense pains in my life and to our children," Harrelson said, crying.

During tearful remarks in court, Watkins asked Mehta to issue a just sentence. "My actions and my behavior that fateful day were wrong and, as I now understand, criminal," she said.

Four other Oath Keepers members convicted of seditious conspiracy in a second trial are due to be sentenced next week.

For those types who were sentenced, the only thing that wakes them up ... is the loss of money, and the dispensed prison time they must face.
  • (they may cry and whine before the Judge, but did they truly have a change of heart and mind about what led them to commit their crimes against society and nation?)

i missed that video of attmepted hanging lol

Step back from conspiracy land.
They were threatening death, so is it simply because they didn't bear arms during the violent attack?
No they were not threatening death. "I will hang Mike pence" is a threat.

But gee, it could not have been just hyperbole from frustrated people, it had to be a grand conspiracy to overthrow the government lol. And biden Is covering up for them. Lol

You should probably look up the definition of the word. ?
I guess the doj needs to look the word up lol

Or perhaps they are in on the grand conspiracy to protect the "inurrectipnists" from that serious crime lol

Conspiracy nonsense.

Only 12 have been charged with anything REMOTELY RESEMBLING inusurrection.
Speaking of conspiracies. Those 12 were also found to have conspired in an attempt to overthrow the Govt. That is what that charge means.

In basic terms, what they have to prove is, conspiracy would mean that a group of activists had contact with each other, had a plan, and worked together over a period of time. And then the sedition part has to do with their capacity and their will to violently overthrow or interfere with the function of the United States government.

And how would you know he he is guilty? You saw it? Then why as he not been charged with child molestation lol
Geez, when you miss a point....

We're talking about pedophilia, not 'child molestation'. Do you see? It's exactly as you claiming that no one was an insurrectionist unless he was charged with 'insurrection'.

In fact, you must deny that anyone is a pedophile, yes? Since there is no such charge of pedophilia?

Bet you won't answer that simple question. Do you deny that anyone in this country is a pedophile?
Not if he fits the definition. Which would be verified by a child molestation conviction. See how that works?
Then comes Simpletruther into the forum, proclaiming that the guy is NOT a pedophile. He's NOT. He wasn't charged with pedophilia, so he's NOT a pedophile.

The question is: Why would Simpletruther be so intent on proclaiming that the guy isn't a pedophile.

Why is Simpletruther so intent of proclaiming that the J6 people were not insurrectionists?

Yeah... it sure looks like Simpletruther is trying to defend a violent rebellion against the US government.

What else could it be?

There was no insurrection, and if there were, perhaps the government employees planted in the crowd should be held responsible…

It was a set-up.

The only seditious conspiracy was by the FBI and Capitol Police. Ashli Babbitt and Roseanne Boyland were murdered.
Glad to hear pardons are being pledged by some running for president.

i missed that video of attmepted hanging lol

Step back from conspiracy land.

Trump supporters brought a noose.

I guess the doj needs to look the word up lol
Ah, I see now why you are so confused. You believe something just didn’t happen unless someone was charged using that same word. Huh.

Good luck with that.

The fact of the matter is there was no insurrection. But there was maybe 12 or so people planning one (conspiracy)
So they planned an insurrection and they sent their troops to execute the insurrection... but there was no insurrection attempt?

That sounds very confused... almost like you just really really really want to deny there was an insurrection attempt.

I wonder why.

The fact of the matter is there was no insurrection.
The fact is that there was an insurrection. There just wasn't a successful insurrection.

Let's try to get our words right.

I know. It's truly shocking. Until we get each and evert Trump supporter in jail we can never be a free nation.
