Guaido Seeks to Cooperate with US Forces In Order to Take Power

The liars in the US military/intelligence that told you there were WMDS in Iraq didn't get fired for it, they all have jobs as " analysts " with MSM sources you would NEVER deem to be " suspect "

Some of the MSM sources have already been outed for misrepresenting events in a bid to defame the Maduro government and it has been spoken about in this very forum

Have used people close to the Guaido camp to give their views about the situation in Venezuela without letting on that they are not the independent analysts people assume they are. Recall the Iraqis throwing babies out of the incubators story told by ? The daughter of the Kuwaiti ambassador to the US.

The problem you have is that you cannot stand people putting the other side of the argument up and are compelled to cry foul whilst at the same time ignoring the already well known BS coming out of the MSM of which the above are just some examples

So , who gives a **** about what you think really ?

Blah, blah blah blah blah.....

Your source is still suspect.

I would say that it is you that is ignorant of the constitution. As I understand it , should Maduro become unable to rule through illness or death the role goes to the vice president with elections to follow, not some foreign proxy that announces himself president after phone calls with the members of the US government

Read Armed Madhouse ( Greg Palast ) and have a look at some of the data and events that occur in your own elections

Your black and white , winners and losers, good versus evil appraoch to everything shows a very childlike attitude imho

You would say that. And you would be wrong. As usual.

There is no "foreign proxy". Simply a VENEZUELAN politician going against Maduro. A Maduro propped up bu CUBAN and RUSSIAN forces and monies. Wait maybe there is a "foreign proxy" in Maduro.

Whataboutism about US elections noted.

Guaido Requests US Military ‘Cooperation’ to Oust Maduro as US Vessel Violates Venezuelan Waters | Venezuelanalysis.com

I can only imagine the reaction in the US had Hillary Clinton lost the election to Trump and then declared herself president , running around the country trying to foment a violent overthrow of the government and then openly seeking to cooperate with the Russian military to further that aim

Whatever is going on in Venezuela is not working. If the majority of the people voted for communism then the majority of the people are stupidly cutting their own throats. Stupidity, however, is not bound by race, culture, creed or sect. Even Americans are now stupidly voting in favor of socialism to their own destruction.

You must have gotten a masters in BS

Not a single one of the links you provided back up your fantastical claims regarding why many people chose not to participate in the Venezuelan election of 2018. Not a single, solitary one of them , so I can only assume you thought people would see them and not bother to actually check them against your claims of dungeons and the murder of people for voting the wrong way

Three of them are about the one man and his alleged involvement in drugs trafficking

One is about the fall out from the war in Colombia and the drug trafficking they are involved in

The other one is about the poor forming gangs , ruling their neighbourhoods and fighting/killing opposition protesters/gangs that have also killed some people from the opposition side

Your attempt to fool the reader that your links back up your claims is hysterical and has failed miserably:mrgreen:

You came out with BS claims and they REMAIN BS claims, only now we have the added luxury of seeing just how far you will go to try to fool people that your BS is actually based in reality . Talk about ****ting and falling back in it !!

You asked me to provide evidence of people willing to conduct violence against the Venezuelan people if they "voted the wrong way". I provided multiple examples. You circling up in the fetal position shrieking "no no no" doesn't make the facts go away.

Oh, by now I don't except you not to soil yourself when reading, much less actually understand basic English.

Yes, the high ranking government official who is involved with criminal organizations know for brutally murdering people.

Are you starting to see the point yet, or are you dumber than you sound?

And gee, guess who is operating from bases in Venezuela and therefore are intrinsically involved in the country? FARC and ELN. You know, like I already said.

Yes, your pompous attempt at "debunking" has shown what a miserable failure you are.

And now you are projecting again. Typical :lamo

Gee, what a surprise, a pro Maduro website blames everything on the sanctions

"CEPR has published at length about Venezuela and has been described as supporting Hugo Chávez and the Venezuelan government[15][16][17] with some of the data presented by CEPR along with Weisbrot being accused of using slanted information to support the Venezuelan government.[18][19][20][21] Staff members such as Mark Weisbrot, CEPR's founder, and Deborah James, the former director of the Venezuelan government's Venezuela Information Office, have attended pro-Venezuelan government events alongside other activists such as Daniel Kovalik.[22][23][24][25][26] Venezuelanalysis.com, a pro-Bolivarian website, has also used CEPR as their only source of economic indicators for their website since 2007.[27][28]

In October 2012, Weisbrot wrote an op-ed for The New York Times that stated in part, "[a]lthough some media have talked of Venezuela’s impending economic collapse for more than a decade, it hasn’t happened and is not likely to happen."[29]"

Your source is about as credible as Pravda or whatever the **** North Korea's official state news calls itself.

Tigerace117:

Jeffery Sachs is a well respected economist from Columbia University and is a far more credible source than a John Bolton or a Donald Trump. The CEPR is based in Washington DC and is a left-leaning/progressive think-tank concerned with far more than just Venezuela or Latin America in its brief and has existed since the late 1990's. It is a pity you decided to cherry-pick from the vapid Wikipedia rather than to actually read the article which blames not only US policy but the Venezuelan State and the Maduro Regime too. But in your rush to discredit the source, you seemingly ignored all that. Typical reactionary rush to judgement in my opinion and common practice for Tigerace117.

But when you're certain you're right, then I guess real souces (as opposed to Wikipedia) by qualified economists don't matter.

Cheers.

Trying to shift the goalposts and thinking nobody will notice just about sums you and your commentary up in a nutshell

You claimed that the people didn't want to vote because they feared being thrown into dungeons or being gunned down by Maduro " thugs" and now you have switched to they didn't want to vote in a rigged election

So when your BS was exposed as such you thought you could just shifty them sticks and nobody would notice ? :lamo

On the other hand, flailing about uselessly and humiliating yourself sums your commentary quite easily.

Yes, the election was rigged.....which does not change the fact that those who "voted the wrong way" were targeted by the government.

I get that you aren't real bright but this is a very basic concept.

I know you thought that by humiliating yourself, and then doubling down on humiliating yourself again, you'd prove some sort of point. Unfortunately for you, all you've proven is that you are quite good at humiliating yourself and nothing else.

"Well respected".

Being "well respected" by tankies is totally meaningless, and doesn't actually mean anything regardless. Noam Chomsky was "well respected". He still indulged in Khmer Rouge apologism.

Yes, as I already stated the CEPR is well known for being little more than a mouthpiece for the Maduro regime, and Chavez before him.

Not only that, but given that they were dead wrong about the direction the country was going, their claims lack any real distinction as to reliability.

Biased intellectuals tend not to tell the truth when they are indulging in their biases.

So, you have avoided mentioning your claim that " the Venezuelan people " want Maduro out is not the accurate way to phrase the situation , seeing as he still has the support of millions of people, predominantly from the poorest sector of society

You have also neglected to mention the fact that most Venezuelans don't want an outside intervention to interfere with their situation.

I will assume the projection you engaged in wrt the facts has subsided in the face of its outing

If what you say is true about the Venezuelan people , who you don't seem to know too much about btw , being left alone would oust Maduro in 2 seconds flat how come this hasn't happened and why are you defending US interference ?

I could understand your view if the Russians had tens of thousands of troops there , or the Chinese did , or the Cubans did but they don't . IIRC there were reports that a hundred or so Russian troops arrived with military equipment some weeks ago . The thousands of Cubans there are virtually all doctors from what I have read and I haven't read anything about any Chinese forces in Venezuela. The support they are giving to Venezuela appears to be more in the diplomatic arena where they are blocking , ironically , genuine attempts by others to interfere in the internal affairs of Venezuela and are quoting the UN Charter stuff about the sovereignty of nations states

Your commentary appears to be totally based on ignorance or fantasy

First of all, Chinese, Russian, and Cuban shrieking about "sovereignty of other nations" is utterly laughable. I guess said "sovereignty" magically doesn't apply when one is talking about Tibet or Ukraine.

Secondly, it hasn't happened because Maduro has busily been running over or tossing in jail anyone who speaks out against him. And those Russian troops sure are useful when it comes to protecting Maduro's hide personally.....and keeping him from bailing out of power, like he apparently wanted to before Vlad put his foot down.

Thirdly, the poorest of the Venezuelan society are currently starving to death in pitiful living conditions without stuff like medicine due to Maduro's stupidity. I wouldn't count on them backing him up when push comes to shove.

Yes, your posts are very ignorant.

Biased intellectuals tend not to tell the truth when they are indulging in their biases.

Tigerace117:

The sources you have provided are far more biased and deceptive than the Weisbrot/Sachs paper. You have cited the Miami Herald which is by no means impartial in its coverage of Venezuela, Cuba or Latin America. You have sighted a Wikipedia article which based much of its analysis on reportage from InSight, an organisation based in Washington DC and Medellin Colombia which is funded by right-wing think-tanks in Colombia, the US Government indirectly and the Soros Foundation. The only source which you offered which might have been impartial was the New York Times article, but that was hidden behind a pay wall, so I cannot critique it properly.

You are so polarised towards your own take on things that you recoil from even allowing others to offer different points of view and you reflexively lash out at different opinions with derogatory terms like "tankies" to express your outrage at people having other points of view which do not align to your own.

The only way to come to a well-balanced and complete understanding of any crisis or conflict is to examine and weigh all sides of all arguments and then using critical analysis to figure out the whole picture. The way not to understand a crisis or conflict is to crawl into an ideological bunker and then to attack all ideas that don't align with your own without first examining them and weighing them. That just leads to more polarisation and division and occludes better understanding.

The human rights record of Venezuela is not good but it is still far better than those of Colombia or Brazil, your allies in this righteous humanitarian struggle against evil socialism. The Colectivos you rail on about were formed in the 1960's, long before Hugo Chaves was on the political scene in his country and while Maduro was still in diapers. The Colectivos are a danger to peace in Venezuela and a growing political paramilitary which threatens what's left of open democracy in Venezuela but so is the opposition which has killed many people in ghastly ways such as decapitation by wire traps and burning to death at political protests. Elliot Abrams, the US Special Envoy to Venezuela, has an appalling record of assisting and shielding paramilitary violence in Larin America and despicable John Bolton's record speaks for itself.

The USA and its Latin American allies of Colombia and Brazil are not the good guys in this struggle for oil and markets in Venezuela and nor is the Maduro Regime. Both sides are self-interested and evil in their intentions. So let the Venezuelan people solve their own political dilemma and butt the hell out of Venezuela and other Latin American countries as your country promised to do when you signed onto membership in the Organisation of American States. The Monroe Doctrine died when your country voluntarily joined the OAS despite Mr. Bolton's claims to the contrary. 100-200 hundred Russian troops and contractors plus 2500 Cuban military advisors are not a threat to Latin America or world peace. The Neocons like Bolton, Pompeo, Pence, and Abrams are such threats as we see in Korea, Iran, the Middle East and the idiot president Donald Trump is their witless and hapless enabler. Just look next door to what US foreign policy did to Colombia over the last 20 years or so or what US policy is presently doing to Honduras or Guatemala today. You are not the good guys.

Cheers.

Whereas your pals at CEPR are directly connected to the Maduro regime itself, and therefore by your own logic are every bit as "deceptive and biased" as you accuse those who pointed out said bias of being. Of course, no rant is completely without mentioning the Soros boogeyman either.

There is no point indulging your fantasy that the source you used was an impartial dispenser of truth. Not only is it not impartial, and not telling the truth, but it actively defends a regime which has caused an immense deal of suffering in its desperate attempts to cling to power.

The hypocrisy in your arguments is extremely amusing. By your own logic the US government would be absolutely justified in supporting any number of unsavory regimes, both past and present, because their neighbors had worse records. Are you sure that's the standard you want to utilize bud? It does tend to effectively nullify the criticism posters like yourself like to throw at the US government after all.

Yes, while I'm sure you are desperate for the Maduro regime to be left alone to continue brutally oppressing its own people and running them over with knockoff Chinese humvees, the likelyhood of that is thankfully slim to none. It is regimes such as Maduro's, Iran's, and North Korea's which are the real threat to world peace......but then again, that fact gets conveniently handwaved away, as does Russian and Cuban interference, in favor of screaming about America. Funny how nonchalant you are about Vlad Putin sticking his nose in and keeping Maduro in power.

Ah yes, Colombia. The Chavez regime provided safe havens for FARC and now that's come back to bite them in the ass. Couldn't have happened to a nicer bunch of thugs.

Of course not. The good guys run their people over with humvees......at least in tankie fantasy land.

When an elected President becomes permanently unavailable to serve prior to his inauguration, a new election by universal suffrage and direct ballot shall be held within 30 consecutive days. Pending election and inauguration of the new President, the President of the National Assembly shall take charge of the Presidency of the Republic.

Maduro's swearing-in ceremony, took place in the main offices of the Supreme Court of Justice even though the constitution dictates that it must take place in National Assembly.

The National Assembly is the entity that declares the election and it never did ..... need more?

or even easier as the constitution says ... at which date did the national assembly declared the election and sticked to it cause never heard the national assembly changed it so simple what date did it declared it and what date were the election at?????

not saying at ALL they were fake just want to know the constitutional facts that proove what I truely beleive were real election

Yes, the people who spent all the time talking about how "all men are created equal" unless you have the "wrong" religion, or skin color, or come from the "wrong" part of Europe were rather amusing in their flailing about and attempts to avoid facing the blatant hypocrisy. And no, murdering Native American civilians was not a good thing. Enslaving African Americans was horrific as well.....because considering the fact that your hero was a slave trader and sold human beings, I already know you don't give a **** about that either.

Gee, sending a couple million ethnonationalists to a shallow grave worked out pretty well last time as well. Guess we should do it again.

And no, it is not "tirades". It is pointing out the facts. Your ideology is worthless. It has prouduced nothing of value and resulted in the murder of millions of innocent people. You crying because your hero Orban is a wannabe Horthy knockoff does not change the facts.

And by the way, no, he certainly has not "single handedly ended Merkel's bullying of Europe forever"...... especially since she was just talking about the need for Europe to unite to face down countries like the US and Russia.

The real "lightweights" are the inbred ****s you worship, who went to war to preserve slavery, or jerk off to the exploits of an admiral in a landlocked country. Considering every time a country follows your ideas it ends up a burnt out husk I'd say it's a good thing Venezuelans would tell you to stick that load of crap where the sun don't shine.

Gaddafi and Saddam were both brutal thugs who committed numerous atrocities for decades. Gaddafi armed and assisted just about every terrorist group under the sun, and ordered multiple terrorist attacks as well. Saddam "only" gassed his own people and invaded all of his neighbors.

You think the millions of lives lost and total failure everywhere in the world would convince you "ethnonationalists" to crawl back under your rocks, but sadly you are still spewing your crap.

You never miss a chance to be on the wrong side of an issue, you ought to change your username to 'alwayswrong"
So Victor Orban has not "single handedly ended Merkel's bullying of Europe forever" why? Because Tiger notes that she was just talking about the need for Europe to unite to face down countries like the US and Russia. That makes sense only if you don't read it.

Orban was the first to face down Merkel & Junker who promised Hungary steep fines if Hungary didn't take their share of Muslims, Orban didn't budge
and the battle was on. Encouraged by Orban, Czech Republic, Poland and Slovakia took the same approach to the bully. The 3 Baltic states bolted also, followed by Italy & Austria & Eurosceptic states became the most unlikely opposition to Merkel's dominance in more than a decade.
The end of European core is in sight Europe may turn upside down with EU elections coming later this month.

Far-right leaders such as Matteo Salvini and Viktor Orban have called for anti-immigrant, Eurosceptic and far-right parties
across the continent to unite into a single “axis” to take control of the EU institutions.
The EU’s Eurosceptic, populist and far-right parties would constitute the largest group in the European parliament after next
month’s election – if they united into a single group. Victor Orban is the Winson Churchill of our generation.

WHILE:
BERLIN (Reuters) - The presumptive heir to Angela Merkel denied a report on Friday that she had pressured the German chancellor
to step down after an election later this month for the European Parliament in which their party is set to lose ground.
A spokeswoman for Annegret Kramp-Karrenbauer, leader of Merkel's Christian Democrats (CDU), denied a Bloomberg report,
which cited two unnamed people, that Kramp-Karrenbauer had pressured the chancellor to step down after the May 26 vote.

Yet you counter by babbly 'she was just talking about the need for Europe to unite to face down countries like the US and Russia.' yikes!

Whether you are prepared to admit it or not the fact remains that Maduro has the support of millions of Venezuelans and the man you support has virtually no democratic endorsement from the Venezuelan people having chosen not stood on the election himself but subsequently announce his presidency after being in cahoots with a foreign government

Very true, but Maduro though democratically elected is not the right man to lead Venezuela.
Democracy thrives best when the ethnic majority is market capable,
Venezuela is a prime example of where democracy fails. In some multi-ethnic
diverse states democracy becomes a toxic cocktail.

What Russian and Cuban forces ? I read that some 100 or so Russian soldiers flew in with some military materials and the vast majority of Cubans in Venezuela are medics.

The support for ther Maduro government is almost entirely on the diplomatic front at the UN. They have been reminding people about the fact that it is a crime for member states to threaten the sovereignty and self rule/internal affairs of another member state. “Wrong side”? The day I find the KKK supports my positions is the day I give those positions a nice hard log look, I’ll tell you that.

Encouraged by Orban and his inbred gang of thugs, a bunch of countries which spend most of their time desperately pleading for more US investment and commitment decided that they would doubled down on said stupidity.

Given what just happened to the leader of Austria I’d say the “battle” isn’t going very well for you lot :lamo

Actually, one look at European history would tell you far right morons are quite common in European history.....at least until they get bombed into oblivion.

Gee, what a surprise, the people who idolize the Axis want to bring it back. Not even mentioning the massive insult you just posted to Winston Churchill......seriously, I get you are about as smart as your average brick, but Orban has done nothing even remotely close to what Winston Churchill did, and in fact idolizes men who fought against Churchill.

On the other hand, one of your inbred mouth breathing leaders, as I said earlier, did actually resign because he got busted for consorting with Russian agents. That does tend to put the rumors and innuendo you tossed out there in its proper perspective :lamo

It literally, by definition, was a skirmish, nothing more. Not only did it not even remotely delay the Union advance, it failed utterly to have any impact on the war effort whatsoever. Yes, I know you aren’t quite bright enough to grasp the concept of logic.

Gee, you mean like how your slave trader hero should have been hung for treason? That sure would have saved a lot of lives of innocent African Americans that he and his thugs murdered later on.

Your time would be better spent crawling back under your rock and never, ever coming back out

Maduro did something that triggered the opposition to select a new man in Guaido.

I have asked you time and again if you could figure out what it was.

You still haven't shown the you know.

So either benign or intentional ignorance...

And Cuban "medics"?

15,000 to 20,000 medics and nurses?

Hmmmm

Cubas military numbers approximately 40,000.

According to Cuba there are ZERO troops and everyone is a civilian. (Even those working with the Venezuelan military)

Whatever it is going on it is not Communism , never has been despite the BS rhetoric you have evidently been exposed to

The hacking of the DNC and its anti democratic tendencies might have shown some Americans just how far Left the Business Party that governs you is setting the parameters at but to claim you are voting for socialism tells me you haven't a scooby doo what you are talking about.

I mentioned the problems socialism is causing in Venezuela and you go on a rant against communism. Did you understand what I said?

On the other hand, flailing about uselessly and humiliating yourself sums your commentary quite easily.

Yes, the election was rigged.....which does not change the fact that those who "voted the wrong way" were targeted by the government.

I get that you aren't real bright but this is a very basic concept.

I know you thought that by humiliating yourself, and then doubling down on humiliating yourself again, you'd prove some sort of point. Unfortunately for you, all you've proven is that you are quite good at humiliating yourself and nothing else.

There you go again, same bizarre inference but different centuries:

'Yes, the election was rigged.....which does not change the fact that those who "voted the wrong way" were targeted by the government.'

So anyone who voted for Maduro or Chavez was 'targeted' brings back memories of your groundless irrational reason why so many blacks
were at the Forrest wake to honor 'The Wizard of the Saddle' for his friendship to many of them, I'll never forget that one!

'The blacks knew if they didn't show up at Forrest's funeral they'd have a mob of thugs on their doorstep.'

You should have rested on your laurels after that one! Observing that statement alone has made it worthwhile
to have joined this forum. I'll never scroll by your posts, always entertaining!

No, anyone who voted for Guaidó was targeted. Congrats, you managed to fail even the incredibly low expectations about basic reading comprehension anyone had for you at this point.

Forrest’s thugs went out and and murdered African Americans at any excuse or none at all. Just a few years earlier his thugs had launched a riot and murdered multiple people with impunity.

Pulaski riot - Wikipedia

Memphis riots of 1866 - Wikipedia

At to that other atrocities being carried out by your heroes thugs and it’s hardly surprising African Americans decided that they didn’t want to risk an inbred mob of liquored up two bit losers kicking in their doors.

“Friendship”

Yes, I bet the people who Forrest bought and sold like cattle just loved the experience

Listening to the pathetic stupidity of your various rants, and your routine defense of the worst regimes in human history, is always amusing, especially when I shred your arguments......as I do every time.
