That's the kind of attitude I have when someone paints such a large group with such a broad brush. I have an excellent attitude and work ethic. When I was working gas stations, I was the guy who swept the lot so that the discarded cigarette butts didn't make me look bad. When I delivered pizzas, I was the guy who smiled through 25 cent tips.
If your posts reflect the kind of attitude you walk around with, then you definitely suck as a supervisor.
My role as a supervisor is to make sure these rigs get built correctly, and on time. If my workers can't do that, I replace them. If I "suck" as a supervisor, it's because I'm not there to be nice, or buddy buddy with everybody. It's because there is **** that needs to get done, and they aren't doing their job to the best of their abilities. They get paid too much to just stand around and **** off all day, but they will if they're left unsupervised. They even complain that 17 dollars an hour isn't enough, and that they should be paid more, while they have to be told constantly to work. That's a ****ty work ethic. That's the ethic of American entitlement, and I've had to hear it since I was 15, when I got my first job. There is a very good reason why I'm a supervisor, and they're still ground level.
