It's an honest question. You honestly don't think the majority did because of skin color? I suppose a plethora of videos showcasing the majority of black voters' ectasy before and after Obama's victory would mean nothing. Probably because you are afraid to acknowledge the truth hidden within the "big picture." Will you evade this statement?

Black people vote overwhelmingly Democrat anyway, so it's statistically impossible for a majority to have voted based on race.

Correct. It would really be impossible to tell because Blacks vote Democratic.

I wouldn't say impossible to tell, I'd say it's impossible.

Obama '08: 95% (NYT)
Kerry '04: 88% (CNN)
Gore '00: 90% (CNN)

2008 was a particularly anti-republican year. To think that 50% or more of black people voted for the Democratic candidate solely on race is... stupid.

It was a record turn out for young blacks. I'm not sure they would have come out to vote for Hillary, but who knows.

The same is true for young white people.

The accepted version is that 95% of blacks voted for him. One hell of a majority. Not since Hitler has a specific group of people voted so overwhelmingly to approve a specific leader or policy (Austrian Anschlluss, 1938).

It's beyond comprehension that race is not a factor, considering that the Democrats virtually drive that industry solo.

Conservative Beach Girl: Do Black Americans support Obama's racist Dept. of Justice?

95% of Blacks back Obama, and that is not a Problem, but if 50% of White back "Tea Partiers" that is a Problem... | Facebook

And how many more blacks only voted for colour alone, so much so that they can't even tell the difference between policies?!

You have no clue what you are talking about. Blacks ALWAYS vote overwhelmingly Democrat. Obama's race was no factor.

RoP. This is NOT the European Forum. Learn something about the topic before you post. Your comments in post #8 were absurd.

Blacks vote for Democrats in large numbers so no.
Its not like they were majority Republican voters and switched to Democrat because Obama was half black. Doesn't Republicans have many Black figures in their party? I don't notice a exodus to Republicans to vote for them if skin colour was really that important.

I suppose more to the point is that had 95% of whites voted McCain there would have been an obligatory race rumpus. That regardless of how innocent the explanation could have been.

With magazine articles on white racist babies and Yank brain scanners to detect 'racism' in white guinea pigs, it'd be a given.

And I suppose I take your Europe thread point - over here it would be mentioned and questioned.

Another absurd statement, RoP. Of course it would be looked at if 95% of whites voted for McCain, simply because that would be an anomoly for 95% of whites to vote Republican. 95% of Blacks voting for a Democrat is pretty standard regardless of the race of that Democrat. Your argument/position on this issue is completely ignorant of US political demographics.

A more important question is:

Did Tea-Party protesters not protest George W Bush because if his skin color? Why only protest Obama?

Only took 8 posts to Godwin the thread and have a random retarded youtube link. Wouldn't want to have an actual rational debate on an issue, so let's go right to appeal to emotions and stupidity.

I voted for Obama based on his eye color.

I suppose I'm just used to liberal-left race politics that's all. It's 'race race race' all the time.

I think a majority of black people voted for Obama because he is a democrat. That said I do believe a significant portion of people regardless of race voted for Obama because of his race.

2008 - 95% of black voters voted Democrat
2004 - 88% of black voters voted Democrat
2000 - 90% of black voters voted Democrat
1996 - 84% of black voters voted Democrat
1992 - 83% of black voters voted Democrat
1988 - 86% of black voters voted Democrat
1984 - 90% of black voters voted Democrat
1980 - 85% of black voters voted Democrat

A majority of black voters apparantly voted for Carter, Mondale, Dukakis, Clinton, Gore, and Kerry because they are black.

Black voters are black.

Not *a majority*

But those who *didn't previously* vote or give a damn about any election - and then suddenly went to vote because Obama was black - surely, and admittedly, they voted based on race.

But, again, I say that's not a majority.
