Cortez says 'no question' Trump is racist

Cortez has you so worked up that you are now posting blatantly idiotic comments. More so than usual.

By the way, please do post the list of all of Trump's "black friends". Not his Hollywood friends. I mean his real black friends. I didn't know you were so intimate with the Trumps that you even know who his personal friends are.

That's not fair. Donnie has no real friends, white, black, or otherwise.

Didn't say that either. Zero for two.

But thank you for correcting your misquote.

You didn't have to say it because it's pretty much a well known fact, that goes without saying really....

It is a fact that folks believe that.

Sure, go with that......LOL

Once again, the term/construct of race and racism was way different in 1619 compared to 2019.

Saying someone was racist today on 1/7/19 for the actions and way of life 400 years ago is completely foolish.

I see you've moved it back to 1619...Slavery was an abomination, a travesty....To somehow brush off the horrors as "it was just the times".....Is wrong...I'll go with that

It was perfectly legal and a way of life especially for a birth of a new nation, the United States.

It would have been impossible for black and whites to be equal in that era.

Yeah, truth has a way of inspiring belief? Why do you resist it?
You haven't posted truth yet.
Mater of fact, you started out with dishonesty by purposely misquoting me. Yet here you are, the purveyor of truth now? Pardon me while I laugh my ass off.

Being a slave owner in itself is not being racist.

You’re the worst troll ever Bucky.

You're the one with the fear of a little Latina, and the ego so fragile you can't even admit it to yourself.:lamo:cool:

This was a bit surprising to me. Trump is from New York. He has many black friends. He has hired many people that are non-white. Many of his policies have greatly uplifted minority communities - Black unemployement down. Criminal reform done.

Dont like it when people call others racist, as who knows what he has in his heart. There are some examples with Trump, as when he objected to blacks as accountants or something saying he preferred Jews, thus insulting two groups at once, plus his Judge Curiel comment. But despite who he might have hired, there no question he has used racial fears shamelessly in politics.

I see we have come full circle with your dishonesty. Figures.
There is no fear here.

Another AOC thread.

Hah.

But my 2 cents on this are that, I really don’t know if Trumps heart, or what’s left of it, that’s he is an in and out racist, he doesn’t strike me as one most of the time.

However, make no mistake, he absolutely and unrepentantly meant to appeal to racists during the campaign, the darkest sides od American populism, he didn’t use a dog whistle, he used a megaphone to broadcast it.

I missed the part where Trump promised economic prosperity for white people only. And if you are paying attention, the democrat party is flat out greenlighting targeting whites where they work, where they, live, and where they exist.
BTW! It’s it pretty hard to run a construction business and be a racist. If their is any group it is any groupthat says “in the old country”.

Bucky.
How did a slave owner not think of their slaves as inferior?

I agree. However, racist think he's racist and that counts for something.

A democrat falsely accusing a republican of being racist. Can't say that is anything new.

That said I have to wonder how wise it is to do a Cortez is stupid thread every time that woman says something stupid. The mainstream media demonized Trump and took every little thing he said out of context. Which gave him a **** load of free publicity and helped him win 2016. The moral of the story is that bad publicity is still free publicity. The leech class of society IE socialist scum love what that woman is spewing and are not going to care what idiotic or retarded thing she says or does.So all the right wing pundits and conservative posters are doing is giving that woman free press.

I think you have to consider the fact, not all slavery was forced, many slaves were slaves voluntarily. They were provided food, shelter, and a way of life in a structured environment. Again, at the time this happened and given the environment. If you look at what I said from the lense of today it is completely absurd however I am saying thing through the lense of someone living in the 1700s. The construct of race and racism was completely different back then.

Also, many slave owners were black.

That's Lost Cause nonsense. I wonder how long it's going to be before we put a stake in this stuff. Guess it will take another generation, at least.

Just for starters, slavery in the U.S. was chattel slavery, which means you were born as a slave, your children born as slaves, and they died as slaves. Other than perhaps trivial exceptions, there was nothing voluntary about it. It was a function of your race and your status at birth. Second, the number of black slave owners was always trivial, rare exceptions. Third, the belief in white supremacy was an explicit part of the slave owning South, justified slavery (which we can read in the declarations of secession) to nominally "Christian" slave owners, and continued post Civil War explicitly through Jim Crow laws, which had at their core a widespread and explicitly expressed societal embrace of white supremacy.

Bucky.
How did a slave owner not think of their slaves as inferior?

By that definition, do you consider people that have maids and butlers racist?

Who knows what is in Trump's heart, although he does have a long and well documented history of racist behavior.

But we do know that one of the main strategies of Trump's campaign was to appeal to racists, and have them join his base. I give him credit, as it has worked very well, his popularity has been unassailable within his base.

If they claim and have ownership of said maids and butlers, and ownership of the maids and butlers is justified because of their skin colour, then yes.

It was perfectly legal and a way of life especially for a birth of a new nation, the United States.

It would have been impossible for black and whites to be equal in that era.

That unequal status is racism. White supremacy is by definition racism. The core of chattel slavery is explicit racism.

This is ****ing hilarious, Trump farts and there's a thread about it. AOC calls the President a racist and there's a thread about it and it proves to the left on this forum that the right is afraid of her. Y'all are a ****ing joke :lamo

The mainstream media demonized Trump and took every little thing he said out of context. Which gave him a **** load of free publicity and helped him win 2016.

Well sure, Trump's main strategy was appealing to racists, and obviously it worked. They joined his base en masse. And yes, the media showing video after video of Trump appealing to racists, and making racist statements, let the racists know which side he was on.

The moral of the story is that bad publicity is still free publicity.

Trump clearly demonstrating his racist chops was not bad publicity. His base loved it, watch his rallies when he speaks out against brown skinned people, the crowds cheer loudly every time.

There is a difference between hired help and slaves.
Belief in the inferiority of the slave was part and parcel of slavery.

Now I am sure there is some exception to the rule out there, but they are few and far between and we are not discussing them.
