Kinda puts it all in perspective...

LOL, most hilarious video I have seen in ages. Talking about gobbledygook. I could have made a more convincing argument for the existence of God and yet.................. my more convincing argument would still be gobbledygook.

Kent Hovind is a complete nutjob. Even other creationists think he’s a moron.
He is controversial, yes but I think in this instance he makes sense...try to put your prejudices aside if you can and really listen to what he's saying, instead of concentrating on who is saying it...

He is controversial, yes but I think he makes sense here...

Hovind contends that "Darwinism" produced "Communism, Socialism, Nazism, abortion, liberalism and the New Age Movement".[65][66] He blamed the forced Cherokee resettlement on a belief in evolution, although the Trail of Tears preceded Origin of Species by roughly two decades.[10][11]

Hovind claims that the cyanide-releasing compound laetrile is a "cancer cure" which the U.S. government is conspiring to suppress[29][103] and that diseases including HIV, Gulf war syndrome, Crohn's colitis, and rheumatoid arthritis and Alzheimer'swere engineered by "the money masters and governments of the world" for the purpose of global economic domination.[91][104] He has denounced democracy as "evil and contrary to God's law",[65] and called global warming a communist conspiracy.[101]

“Hovind has promoted several conspiracy theories about the U.S. government. He has claimed that the U.S. government was behind the 9/11 attacks[91] and the Oklahoma City bombing.[49] Regarding UFOs, Hovind recommends books by conspiracy theorists who believe "some UFO's are U.S. Government experiments with electrogravitic propulsion as opposed to jet propulsion, while others are Satanic apparitions."[100][101] The Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) criticized Hovind for referring followers to books by Irwin Schiff,[32] a tax protester who has been convicted of tax evasion multiple times.[102] The SPLC has criticized Hovind for "point[ing] his followers to Citizens Rule Book, popular among antigovernment 'Patriots', and to Media Bypass, an antigovernment magazine with strong antisemitic leanings",[32] and for selling of books such as Des Griffin's Fourth Reich of the Rich and Peter Kershaw's In Caesar's Grip, and recommending The Protocols of the Elders of Zion, a well-known antisemitic hoax.[65]

He’s a wife beating, anti Semitic nutjob.

lol...you know what they say about a broken clock...

This guy is essentially correct. Space, time, and matter are all made up of energy, which God is the invisible, infinite source of.
God didn't come from anything because he is everything.

You can replace the word God in that summary with Universe and it still makes sense. Creationists dilute God down to a meaningless term.

Well, I happen to think, this time, he makes sense...

He never answered the question:

Where Did God Come From?

He simply asserted that (his) God preceded time, space and matter - as most who agree with him simply believe it to be.

How does it do that exactly? I mean, it's not a very good question but if anything, the answer removes all perspective by declaring God exists outside time and space. Of course, the answer also hints at (though obviously doesn't directly admit) that the only basis for that declaration can be blind faith since anything outside time and space would be entirely beyond our scope of understanding (rather than only partially, as so many believers seem to claim).

I'd also suggest that the whole idea of God being outside time is somewhat contradicted by all of the temporal events and actions involving God depicted in the Bible. It's actually contradicted by the very first words of Genesis.

Where Did God Come From?

The concept of God was created by mankind to explain that which they otherwise could not explain. In other words, God shares the origin (source) of a mermaid, yeti, unicorn, cyclops, leprechaun, vampire, werewolf and many other well described ‘beings’ for which no physical evidence exists.

I think the correct answer is "I dont know". The core of religious belief is faith. I can answer pretty much every question in life in God....but cant explain "where did God come from?" If the question is designed to debunk faith...ok...but then

Where did all the matter in the ever expanding universe, condensed into the size of an atom come from that formed all the galaxies come from? Where did the energy source originate from that stimulated the big bang come from?

The answer is the same...no one knows.

Faith is faith.

The stuff we tell ourselves in order to believe in this invisible all powerful entity is hilarious.

A man was taking it easy, lying on the grass and looking up at the clouds. He was identifying shapes when he decided to talk to God. "God," he said, "how long is a million years?"

God answered, "In my frame of reference, it's about a minute."

The man asked, "God, how much is a million dollars?"

God answered, "To Me, it's a penny."

The man then asked, "God, can I have a penny?"

God said, "In a minute."

Very hard to control people with “I don’t know”.
Very hard to fearmonger with “I don’t know”.
Very hard to convince people to hand over money with “I don’t know”.
Very hard to gain power with “I don’t know”.
Very hard to write/change laws with “I don’t know”.
Very hard to judge/condemn people with “I don’t know”.

Faith is fine, until it’s forced onto, or towards others.

"He"?

LOL. Why would a "god" have a sexual identity? Help me out here.

Faith (belief?) is more like “I simply accept” rather than “I don’t know”.

Ironic comment is ironic.

Where did the materials present that initiated the big bang come from?
