despite this ridiculous amnesic campaign to hush down the results of Bush's legacy, too many americans remember what really happened.

Associated Press exit polls show about half the voters surveyed blame former president George W. Bush for the nation’s economic problems, compared to about 40 percent who say President Obama is more at fault – good news for the incumbent.

I am proud to be one of those americans.:2usflag:

About half? Wow. I wonder how many Americans voted for Obama. What would you say? About half? What percentage of the popular vote did Romney get? I bet it was about half.

Whoopity doo. Yeah, those Americans sure are brilliant. Check your facebook accounts people. Liberal women are praising Jesus that Romney isn't going to surgically remove their uterus. It looks like the GOP did an inadequate job scaring people about gays, terrorists and abortionists.

Yeah, Americans are "too smart" all right. The statement "Americans are too smart" is evidence of its opposite.

Oh, the george orwell schtick.

George Bush was the worst sort of liberal globalist, just like his father.

He was elected because of a pretense of Conservatism.

Obama has 2 years to fix this **** before the educated start to turn on him.

4 years is in no way enough time to get a recovery in motion after a financial crisis. Especially one with deleveraging. 6 however, is.

That said, after watching Romney speech, he seems relieved he doesn't have to deal with the fiscal cliff.

2 years isnt enough, the republicans will likely still block every move he makes in the house, until they're voted out in 2014 when people get sick of another 2 years of teaparty gridlock.

I look forward to the grid lock. Considering this election is seeing hardly any change, I dont expect 2014 to provide much different results.

Actually I expect that in 2014 the middle class will have had enough of PPACA and we can hope for change again.

I see it just a bit different...

I think a lot of American are stupid enough to blame the economic problems we have on a President ..any President.

For once I agree with you...the blame lies squarely with big banks and corporations

there's pretty wide swath of chumps that can take blame... I happen to place it on the backs of the Quants... they started the ball rolling, and it rolled away and crushed a lot of people.
but yeah, Quants were employed by some big banks and big financial houses (blaming "corporations" is too broad a brush)

goes to show you, stupid people will **** things up for a few.. but really really smart people will **** things up for everyone;)

The recvery is already in motion, thanks to obama.

I agree that I was generalizing, but Bush did oversee the actual crash of the ship into the iceberg for almost a decade and only hastened the crash on.

If Americans were any kind of smart, as a collective, there would be mass rioting in the streets.

I think the american people smelled a schnuck right off. they listened waited and then showed Romney and co what they thought of their exclusive country club ideas. The right will hopefully realize that demographics have changed in the last 60 years.

If they don't like the Reps on CNN said last night they could end up being a fringe party.

I don't know if the voters were smarter but maybe responded by a kind of political or survival instinct.

We'll see. Boehner looks like he's willing to deal. Maybe the reduction in crackpot Tea Party members means he can finally cut a deal. At heart, I think Boehner is a moderate willing to deal. A good man is a job made bad by the Tea Party.

who knows, but if my AZ_Spider-Man_big.webp is accurate, that won't happen. indeed, boehner is willing to negotiate, he just cant control his party and i feel sorry for the guy. similar to how obama cant get the dems to line up and negotiate, either.
