  • Hey, just so you know...not taking my kids along to OWS was a VERY good idea...it would have been a huge waste of my time...after seeing what it was like, I would have turned around and took them home...it wasn't CRAZY or anything...but CERTAINLY not an environment for kids. Cops probably woulda arrested me for child abuse....and rightly so.
Maggie, feel like I haven't seen you around the forum much lately, so I just wanted you to know that getting a "like" from you just now made my night. :)
In a way you are correct.

I should have discussed the OP.

However I wasn't on the same wavelength as Sam in any way. When I saw the thread title I kind of went off on a singular mental tangent.

It's frustrating these days as a concerned citizen that so many of our young men and women are overseas, Canadians and Americans and yet no one even seems to notice, people are so worried about their own wallets they've forgotten there's even anything going on over there.

Are we discussing ways to bring our troops home safely with the mission somewhat intact? Nope. We're discussing how we can all get rich again.

I guess when I see anyone at all getting bent out of shape about the economy, or 39 million without even thinking about the fact that a wars going on spending millions a day and no one cares... I went a bit overboard.

Sorry for derailing the thread Maggie, I will say no more.
Thanks for yet another "like", but the moderators didn't seem to like it. Guess they just didn't know I was talking about his nose. Guess we know where their minds are!
Maggie, thanks for all the support in the "plagiarism" thread. I'd like to wring his neck about now, so I have to go cool off, lol! *hugs*
Thanks for the 'like' Maggie. I'm new here and am still trying to find my way around. Are 'likes' something we are expected to respond to? Let me rephrase that. I suppose it's the polite thing to do but is it a terrible no-no if one does not? I've posted on several boards and have never seen this feature before.

Anyway, I'm glad to be here. It seems like a great and very varied and interesting board.

hey maggie how do you work this thing
I never would have thought she was 40. Wow! I just love her! Her personality on the show, her wardrobe. Soooooo cute!! Didn't know that about her education. That's pretty unusual.
I love your Avatar. Abby is a favorite of mine.

Did you know she is actually qualified to be in a CSI position with her education?

What I can't believe is that she is 40 years old. But them I have always been a bag judge of age.
CP -- which post? I probably won't unlike it anyway....unless you called me a name. ;)

Verrrry nice of you, my friend.
Wow, thank you Marshabar. You made my day! And welcome to DP -- you have a fine voice.
Maggie, you are so encouraging. Thank you. Those of us with a passion about the events in this world often find the lack of concern and willful ignorance so frustrating. I hate to see people joking about the situation in Japan.
