While I am almost certain Sarah Palin or the like will be the GOP nominee
1. I don't think so; if she runs she's setting the stage for 2020, just as Obi was really setting himself up for later on.
there are a few things Obama will have going for him
2. Yeah... all the hard core leftists. That's about it. He's lost the swing voters. They've been fooled once badly. It'll be an ABO election in the minds of many... Anyone But Obama.
-Historically to my knowledge a wartime President has never lost
3. LBJ quit. Obi will be the first.
There may be wars going on but everyone knows he's hostile to the military. He won't mention the wars because it opens things like Gitmo and trials of terroristas in civilian court... and we just saw how badly that went.
-To my knowledge when a president creates sweeping plans (such as GWB did) that will have to take 2 full terms, people will tend to vote to keep them to see what happens
4. He did not run on those, and people want him to go in another direction. That's what the election shellacking was about. Stop Obama Now.
-The younger voters will come out in droves during presidential elections, specifically the minority crowd, women, etc to keep Obama in especially if he explains more thoroughly what he has done for them.
The youth vote is always over-calculated. He has lost women in droves. His slick no-noting speeches will be just that the second time around.
-The GOP could surprise me, but I reckon the next two years will be a total tear down of any work Obama has done or at least they will try to. Mitch McConnell said very honestly and best, "The GOP's #1 priority is to destroy Obama".
Mitch said they wanted to defeat Obama, not destroy Obama. I hope they do the latter though.
**** like that will be repeated over and over by the democrats to prove the point that the GOP could give two ****s that people are suffering.
The point is, Obama has failed. He's thrown trillions at problems, expanded government and the problems have gotten bigger. The solution is the free market and a whole lot less class warfare rhetoric. Neither of which are Obama's strong suit.
Any seats up for grabs in 2012 besides presidents will be swept up by quite a few democrats, and the house will likely split more evenly, and the senate will be massively controlled by Democrats.
ROTFLOL... Dems are petrified... and with good reason. It's why they're running from Obi on raising taxes.
Historically my points are incredibly hard to argue against.
I just laid them all to waste. They're hollow, because the man at the helm is hollow, is a radikal, and Americans are fed up. They were lied to. Red-Sate, Blue-State... only the United States... ROTFLOL... the biggest BS line of all. He's a partisan hack... and we all know it now. What this this post-partisan call republicans during the midterms?... "enemies...
Obama's political landscape is like British Columbia after 10-weeks of extreme drought... a tinderbox... and Republicans are going to set it ablaze. Some Dems have... hell... Carville said the other day that if Hillary loaned Obama a testicle, both would have one! That's a Dem saying that.
These kind of things worked in GWB's favor ten-fold and if Palin were to be the nominee then it might as well just be guaranteed to Obama.
GWB actually told people what he wanted to do. He was honest about it. Obama was anything but honest... and the midterms reflected that reality.
PS. You might want to change your lean to "Very Liberal".
