I think they will keep him as his show still has high ratings. The advertisers that left his show remain on other Fox shows so they didn't go far. I remember when Rush Limbaugh got into trouble and lost almost all of his advertisers and he is still on the air, though he did lose a portion of his audience. Do you think Fox will drop O'Reillys show?

Even tough he's Fox News' biggest show, with so many advertisers pulling out, I think it's certainly possible that Bill O'Reilly might end up getting kicked off the network.

One can dream...

What I find puzzling is why Trump is defending him so much. He says he is sure O'Reilly didn't do any of these things because he knows him and he is a nice guy, so that means he couldn't have done it. WTH?

Yes, all said and done it doesn't appear that Trumpers actually care about morals, decency and sexual abuse. Trumpers love O'Reilly and have less affection for the truth.

O'Reilly is wealthy. In Trump's very shallow and twisted reality money is God. O'Reilly has money thus has Trump's admiration and support. Hell, they may have shared a few women along the way. Who knows?

Of course they will. No doubt about it. Maybe give him a raise.

He's a Golden Goose, he's not going anywhere ...

You can't really damage his reputation because he's already well known as a Womanizer.

I think they should let him go, esp. after Ailes. You don't just shell out millions of dollars to women if you're totally innocent.

I also think that among the Trump and Fox News base, there is a strong sense of tribalism. O'Reilly is one of their own, so they will circle the wagons and fight off the "others" against attacks, no matter what he may have done or how overwhelming the evidence. It's not even about ideology anymore, really.

But Obama's birth certificate? I am pretty sure most of them have STILL not been convinced he was born in the US.

Good points. I too believe the Trump and Fox base have a strong sense of tribalism. It's not about common good or the nation but rather the Trump/Fox tribe. If Trump says Bill O'Reilly is "a good man" then hell that's all they need to hear. The facts are fairly clear that Trump and O'Reilly are sexual predators. Heck, we've heard and/or seen some of it on tape.

I'm impressed by the sound logic you used in reaching your conclusion.

It's more about plain facts and observations than any logic. An observation or a fact do not require any logic. It is what it is.

Fox may keep Bill if he keeps quiet like he's doing and nobody else famous pops up complaining. With Roger Ailes, one after another of the Networks stars was complaining of harassment. They lost two anchors with Gretchen Carlson and Greta Van Susteren and ultimately Megyn Kelly, which doesn't say much for that companies profile on women.

They'll probably keep him on the air until his lucrative contract runs out would be my guess. After that? It'll depend...

Except that your conclusions are incorrect. Not facts. Only opinion.

No one knows what one does behind closed doors, unless Kelly Ann has been spying via the microwave.
