" Why I'm Voting for Trump...Even Though I Don't Want To"

Notice how the party that once bleated incessantly about family values and character now could care less about either of them. The party that screamed about deficits and the debt ceiling could care less about them. The party that once championed our military and political alliances throws them in the dust bin. The party that once was dominated by conservatism has destroyed conservatism. In fact, they are so radical that lifelong conservative pundits like Bill Kristol say the conservative movement is dead, gone, kaput under Trump and the current GOP. So now all they have left is law and order. This is being used by the most lawless President in our history. Oh the irony.

From the article linked in the OP..
You would think that at the very least a board member of a cosmetic dentistry group could formulate a coherent argument, instead of a rambling, pointless rhetorical rant.
And let me return the favor. You are not a mod, so don't play one. If you see a violation of the rules, use the Report Post function so that the mod team can evaluate it.
LOL....as a mod, you should be aware of best practices and follow them, like....express an original thought, idea or opinion in your OP.....instead of posting a pointless rhetorical question....but then again...I suppose you gotta work with the material you have.

From American Thinker:

...I want to vote to defend the police. ...I want to vote to make black lives matter. ...I want to vote to make black lives better. ...I want to vote for a strong economy. ...I want to vote for law and order and against Antifa and BLM. ...I want to vote for an unbiased media establishment, one where the facts are presented without editorial spin, and stories are not killed because they do not fit the agenda. ...I want to vote against open borders and illegal immigration. ...I want to vote for the First Amendment. ...I want to vote for the Second Amendment. ...I want to vote for a strong defense. ...I want to vote to stand up to China. ...I want to vote to support capitalism.

...So, no, I don't want to vote for Donald Trump. But voting for him is the only way I can vote for the things I do want to vote for. https://www.americanthinker.com/art...ting_for_trumpeven_though_i_dont_want_to.html

Which of these arguments will resonate with American voters?
Not many since most are not true of trump or that Biden is against those same things, then again it is the American Non-Thinker and they are as biased a form of media as it gets.

The American Thinker is generally full of ****. And all those things are nothing more than a propaganda narrative because Trump has not made gains on any of those fronts. It will resonate with his Cult though because they drank the kool-aid, as it were.

I was going to agree and then noticed you did not say Atlantic.

Turn off the mind, ignore reality, vote cult 45, out of fear and blind faith. Ask not what your country can do for you, or even what you can do for your country, only what you can do for Trump®, and what the country can do for Trump®, because Trump® is after all the #1 American™, do NOT forget that! Be MAGAA™!

Well we all know well from the derth of ignorance, in your abundance of garbage posts, that your opinion and credibility is less than worthless. So there's that....

But his orange™ glow is so DREAMY! (A study showed conclsively that 99.9% of American women fantasize about him grabbing their p*******. And the remaining few are ugly lesbians). Plus the rallies! The rallies and the warm hateful gow is bliss! Definitely worth risking for a case of the KUNG FLU sniffles! :lamo (He is so bigly HILARIOUS with that refreshing honesty no?) It's the only place you can buy that AESOME Trump® sawg and support 'MURICA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Totally worth it dewd, what are you a limp wristy leftie questioning yer maleness? :lamo:lamo:lamo:lamo[/Trumpanzee Mode]

Yes. I still wear my journo hat from time to time, and although I don't own a gun, I recognize that the Second Amendment is the only one capable of defending all the rest of our rights. And the United States must free itself from its dependence on China.

But the reason I posted this was that I think that many, many Americans, irrespective of party, support several of these arguments. The mainstream media would have you believe otherwise, but I suspect that more Americans than they realize are tuning them out.

What, for example, do you think that a majority of ordinary Americans are thinking when they watch the supper news of the continuing street violence?

How is the second amendment defending any of our rights? RW will claim they need it to protect themselves from a totalitarian government, which they support as long as the government is holding down people who don't look like them.

For me, none. Absolutely totally none. In fact, thinking like that shows a strong lack of character, a sense of evilness that is beyond pale. It means that to get what you want, you are ok with the overt corruption, the overt racism, the inflammatory responses, and the authorization attitude. It shows a total and utter disrespect for the Rule of Law, since Trump disregards it so much. It is embracing the gaslighting, the bigotry, and total lack of character, as well as being concerned about the credibility the USA has in the global environment.

it is also ignoring the fact that Trump didn't make the economy strong. He inherited a strong economy, and through debt, kept it going , until it ran off it's sugar high.

I think there was a counter-article on some site that was all about voting against Trump because even though the Democrats have a 60 year history of making a mess of everything they touch they make me feel good about myself and tell me all kinds of bull**** that I want to hear.
You guys really have balls of steel.

The country hasn't been this big of a mess since the Great Depression, and hasn't been this close to civil war in a century, all while YOUR people have been in charge.

Every time Republicans get the car keys, they **** this country hard and fast, then pass it off to a Democrat.

Right. Trump is responsible for Portland. And Chicago.

When it comes to a large part of escallating the situation, defnitelty portland. You would not have seen the Wall of Mom's, the Wall of Dad's, and the Wall of Vet's if it wasn't for Trump putting in the Goons of the DHS there.

They probably all would, sadly trump has proven he doesn't care. He gives lip service to issues and in private says something different. If that isn't clear by now, by all means vote for trump.

Unfortunately for democrats most folks realize the media is extremely biased and has a leftwing political agenda. So, nobody that sees that is going to vote Biden. The obvious bias in reporting the facts is so one sided that the media just reinforces voting for Trump everytime the promote false stories and cover up the success of the Trump administration. Nov 3 is going to be another day full of democrats going batsh** crazy.

Based on what? This all sounds like wishcasting. Trump keeps saying the media is responsible for hiim being so unpopular.

The only requirement the American Thinker and Trump has for it's readers and supporters is one thing.

Don't think.

Voting Trump for "Law and Order" is a bit like voting for Epstein to run a School System.

Law and order except for wing nuts fascists' and white collar crime. No problem with breaking the law there.

They are at least partially because they keep reporting what he says and does.

I've been wanting to see if there was a position the president put them in so bad that they wouldn't argue and spin it anyway.

Still there are some out there doing the dirty work. It's quite amazing.

People who support communists shouldn't claim to be thinkers.

They’re all doing it. There is literally no position they won’t take. His 5th ave comment is pretty incredible looking at how loyal they are.

How anyone can vote for either of these fools is beyond me.

Trump isn't a communist and he isn't pushing the communist agenda. He's the only one who isn't.

There are only two options: vote for the communists, or vote for Trump. Like it, or not, you can thank the Left wing for giving us those two options.

Still trying to sell that lie? :lamo

See what I mean? You people can't come up with one intelligent argument explaining why we shouldn't vote for Trump (here come the insults).

FAILURE to lead. Crisis comes up and all he can do is blame.
