Why can't women control their bodies?

We all see that abortion is about women controlling their bodies yet they want to place blame on men when they get pregnant, is it because they really can't control their bodies in the first place?

I mean what is their deal?

Abortion is about reagaining control, lost for a variety of reasons. That is "their deal". ;)

Only women feel that abortion is a choice? That pregnancy is a choice? That they have a 'deal' - something's wrong? Who blames men? Quit applying the occasional quipped view to all women - don't borrow from soaps and dramas.

Men can support it, want it, prefer it and encourage it, too - you know . . . .and even fight for the right as well.

So you know - those men and their spermies . . . why can't they control their own bodies? What's wrong with them :roll: Most of all: what's with some men who turn against the person they're with when she's pregnant? It happens, too - does that make sense? No - it doesn't.

People are individuals and will have their own quirks and issues - it's never something that goes across the board. Not everyone is *like* that.

Yeah, some moderator knocked me out of a thread about abortion because it was ok for her to wish death upon me but I could not call her stupid for doing so.

She was spouting about control of her body but then wanted to blame the man only for getting her pregnant, it was a hoot.

And to think, it used to be said that it was the men who couldn't control their bodies. Pregnancy is 100% the woman's fault. Damned women should learn to control their bodies.

No abortion is about

1) All people being able to decide to give or withold consent to the medical procedures that will be performed on themselves

2) The govts lack of constitutional power to ban abortions

Yeah, Maggie...I knew there was some payoff for being a man. I'd hate like hell to bear all of the responsibility of a pregnancy, but that's what women get for being born a woman. Actually, being a man...ZERO responsibility. I love it. Failed condom...no problem. Failed birth control pill...no problem. Failed IUD...no problem. Go men, go! Go men, go! :peace

:rofl -- I guess you forgot about paternity tests. ;) And having to support an ankle nibbler from birth through 18. And having your "real wife/girlfriend" pissed as hell. And trying to work under the table so you don't have to pay. And living like a rag-a-muffin while you try in vain to shirk that responsibility. Yep, guess ya' forgot. ;)

Maybe women need to do like Rocketman says. Just keep them britches zipped up cuz life ain't fair and they have to just stay pregnant even if they don't want to BECAUSE, that's right! Rocketman says so.
