Hey Tucker? Are you still pissed that people egged your house after coming out as a racist POS?

Hours after The View’s Meghan McCain warned that there would be “lots of violence” if the American government enforced mandatory gun buybacks, Fox News host Tucker Carlson took that argument even further on Tuesday night and claimed buybacks would lead to a “civil war.”

Nothing says "law-abiding, responsible gun owner" like threatening to turn violent and murder fellow Americans if gun buybacks happen.

Also wouldn't they be optional?

I'm not aware of the details of gun buyback proposals. I only know that threatening to murder fellow Americans is an airtight argument that they shouldn't have guns in the first place. If anybody made a threat on social media to murder people, the police would go to his home and confiscate his guns. Anybody threatening violence in the event of the government buying back their guns is obviously mentally unstable and can't be trusted with firearms.

Also, how is what Tucker and McCain doing not inciting insurrection? If not an incitement to insurrection, then I can only imagine that Fox's lawyers ran their statements through a fine tooth comb so they walked as close to the edge of incitement as possible without quite qualifying as such.

Ironically, your Daily Beast headline is what is biased... Tucker doesn't want a civil war. What a bunch of spin... ^^^

In reply to Beto's propaganda, Carlson, said,
"Americans didn't buy their guns from the government in the first place. They're not buying them back. This is gun confiscation," explained Carlson.

After likening the Democrat's buyback policies to gun confiscation, Tucker warned his guest, Democratic strategist Bernard Whitman, of the national threat that comes with backing these mandatory buyback policies. "What you're calling for is civil war. What you are calling for is an incitement to violence," declared Carlson.

Carlson accused Democrats of using the recent mass shooting tragedies to make a "power grab" with their gun control policies and questioned their selective response to gun violence in America.

"It's not a sincere effort to make this a safer country, which I would welcome. I think mass shootings are horrifying. Nobody is actually serious about trying to fix the problem. Because If you were, you would be every bit as upset about the rest of the shootings that take place which far outnumber of casualties of mass shootings," said Carlson in closing.

If the thought of little Tucker Carlson marching down your street with a pitchfork doesn't frighten you then I don't know what would.

The right wing gun factions seems to be willing to admit they are a minority and the American people are against them but they intend to exercise a hecklers veto over everything if they are threatened with action.

Call their bluff. Give them what they want. Let them see what happens when the majority gets fed up with the minority and they are just too much of a pain in the posterior any longer.

I'm 100% positive some of these baby boomers could use the extra money.

I am fast reaching the point where I am simply accepting the fact that people will die. I don't want to accept that - I would like to avoid that - but I think its going to happen.

So people can die like the mass shootings from too many guns or people can die because they refuse to give up their assault weapons when the police come to claim them. But people are going to die just the same. Not good. Unfortunate. Don't like it and don't want it but if I have to pick which one is going to occur it is NOT innocents being slaughtered by yahoos with assault weapons because we won't exercise reasonable gun control for all.

And it is the rabid NRA gun lobby that has a gun to my head forcing me to make that sad choice.

And how would they know you had a gun?

Perhaps a "see something, say something" neighbor, some occasion for "first responders" to pay your home a surprise visit or you may actually want (or have) to use that gun (or those guns). I guess so long as you intend to keep that gun (or those guns) stashed away as back-up(s) for use only in case of the next "Red Dawn" invasion or Austerity Day then you might be OK.

We always have Moses warnings to us as a source of their potential for violence. The famous line uttered in a sea of angry white men resounds today.

YouTube

Since this was said, the gun lobby has made millions peddling military style weaponry to the masses. The people who bought these weapons then lumped them into their stores of handguns, shotguns and rifles adding to the arsenal protected by the 2nd amendment. It was an incredible piece of marketing and it worked. Now legal gun owners who once were happy as clams with their hunting and sporting weapons think that unless they have access to these new highly effective weapons for mass killings, their right to own firearms has been taken from them. The sales cycle is complete. The marketing program is a success. In fact, the more death and misery created by this effort, the more gun sales and the more fear is instilled in the population. More fear, more gun sales, more killings, more fear, more gun sales. Perfect business model. If this was the mortician industry, morticians would be selling the idea that death is a relief from life so die now, die early and make sure you have a will to cover expenses.

More liberal drivel...

Do you ever make an honest post? Ever?

Mirror mirror on the wall, who's the biggest Fletch of all?

I would ask what's supposed to be dishonest about his post seeing as Tucker in fact said the words on the page, but you'll just lie. And hey, we both know what you're here on DP for anyway. So...yeah...

Damn straight, skippy; when that "buyback" is really a blatant attempt at confiscation. But, I'm sure the government will pay top dollar for the weapons it's forcing you to give them.

Oh, and wouldn't resisting violations of the Constitution comprise law-abiding, responsible behavior?

You accuse me of lying all the time, then run when I ask you to back it up. Is that your game plan here as well? What do you call a person who does that sort of thing?

Tucker came out as a racist?? Really, when did that happen?
