Not true. I have been very clear in my position on protests/ riots. Protesting, including minor civil disobedience, is fine but there is never, ever, ever an excuse for violence, destruction of property or harm to officers never, not ever . I am unequivocal about that. On the other hand I never hear the right denounce the violent attackers on Jan 6th. Much less their President who at a minimum allowed it to happen. I am NOT the hypocrite here.
Do you think the riots on Jan 6th were less violent that this? Do you think the NG should have been called in to quell the riots on the 6th? Do you think the harming of those police officers were no big deal? My disgust here is with Trump who for some reason perhaps you can explain to me thinks these events in LA are more egregious than an overt and violent attack on your Capitol?
Oh. Did you make sure to give a qualifying token response to the arson, looting and violence all over the country during the summer long BLM protests before completely ignoring it?
As for your dishonest comment that you never hear the right denounce the violence of Jan 6, I recall at least a dozen or more posters here making the same half hearted denouncements as you and other liberals made and are making during the BLM and current protests.
