I am beginning to think that DJT wants a war simply because it will put him into the history books as America's GREATEST Leader and Defender -- well, it would in his mind anyway. Such a war against Iran will be viewed as a positive by those Americans who claim Christianity must not only reduce the influence of Islam but also to 'prove' that Christianity is needed to improve the lives of all humans.

Would an attack on Iran cause Russia to provide military aid? Iran has been selling enriched uranium to Russia for several years and the two countries have signed various commercial agreements including one in January of this year.

Can't imagine that would be necessary. Just taking out military, communications, government, and infrastructure facilities would probably do the trick.

It turns out the government there is deeply unpopular with its own people. Many of them are just waiting for a chance for someone to just weaken the regime's military even a little bit, and they can take it from there. If this is coordinated with dissident groups both within and outside the country, we could be looking at regime change there- and that would be a huge step towards peace and stability in the region- not to mention the world.

Only Congress has the authority to declare war. Every American should insist their Representatives and the President follow the law.

Everyone, contact your representative NOW - before the fact - and tell them you expect Congress to follow the law.

Congressional discussion and votes on going to war with Iran (or others) must be broadcast on Signal Chat. That way the world, all of us, will be able to know who said what and who voted how. Let us all see how brave Congress really is.

One thing Congress and Donald Trump agree on is that the President, his children, the members of Congress and the Senate and their children and their extended family members will not be sent to war. They never are. We all know this.
