Trump Scammed Supporters Out of $250 Million for Nonexistent Fraud Fund

I live in NY.. I could start a whole another thread that would go on for dozens of pages of vendors and contractors Trump screwed and didn't pay.. This goes back into the 90s..

It's shocking how many supposedly smart people hitch their wagon to this guy knowing his history of being a conman..

Jill Stein raised millions from besotted progressive donors on the promise of using it to challenge the 2016 election and pay for recounts to overturn Trump’s election. I don’t think anyone other than Jill and her campaign staff knows where that money really went to this day.

Too many Americans have willingly submitted their common sense to some idiotic fantasy and they're SO SO SOOOOO desperate for that fantasy to be real that they'll empty their pockets and sell their legacy up the river.

On that topic, it's helpful to look at other authoritarian takeovers of democracies to see what has happened and what they haven't been able to do. They have a very powerful propaganda machine that has taken over a third of Americans and they were nearly able to have a coup, after stealing the presidency in 2000.

But there are many things they haven't been able to do - such as a lot of physical intimidation, imagine if you speak out having the police arrest you; eliminating rivals, critics, and truthtellers. Imagine if people like Nancy Pelosi and Rachel Maddow were imprisoned, not only the direct effect but the chilling effect. And censorship - look what Putin just did in Russia ending all independent media. trump belongs in jail.
