Uh do you have any evidence? Because muller has nothing to go on. So apparently Michael Cohen plea guilty. What are these federal crimes against the president? Please lay them out for me and do you have any evidence that’s physical evidences this can be used in the case

Can you honestly say Trump would NOT have paid hush money if he had not been running for President ??

Bingo... there is no crime here. But our I hate Trump folks thinks one more time that this will finish Trump.
They are going to be severally disappointed once again. Lots of bluster over nothing.

Or he pled guilty to the campaign finance issue because he was dead to right guilty on his tax issue. He got a deal from the prosecutor on those and ran with it. The SDNY wants Trump, not Cohen. Remember: small fish theory.

Remember also: Cohen didn't contest the claim by the government that the payments were illegal. The Edwards precedence suggests paying mistresses is a personal expense and that even the government is divided over it.

A pleasant fiction but a smart guy, a lawyer, who can afford other lawyers, is not going to plead guilty to a crime he didn't commit to get a reduced sentence on tax charges if its not even true. And duh, we've all heard the tape.

Which wasnt true? The tax charges?
Thats where the significant jail time lay. Its also the area where he had nothing to give.
Do you think think a smart lawyer would recognize that the SDNY wants Trump, not Cohen, and negotiate with what his client has?
The tape apparently shows that Trump wanted them paid off. It doesnt change the personal vs campaign issue.

There was a trial.

Both sides presented evidence. He is guilty of committing a crime

Come on sangha, there was no trial, it was a plea deal. You're being silly.

*When the Government has a strong case, the Government may offer the defendant a plea deal to avoid trial and perhaps reduce his exposure to a more lengthy sentence.*

BTW, your link describes what a trial is not that a plea deal is a trial.

What happened fits the definition of a trial. Both sides presented evidence in front of a judge

Cohen did not contest the claims of the government.

Yeah, you just keep running down that rabbit hole.

*A plea bargain allows both parties to avoid a lengthy criminal trial and may allow criminal defendants to avoid the risk of conviction at trial on a more serious charge.*

*Many criminal cases are resolved through a plea bargain, usually well before trial.*

In this case, it was not before trial
