Trump-Clinton spar over economic plans

Yeah, it is all a scam, teh govts are lying about mortality rates....and self reporting on happiness is forced....socialism is brainwashing!

I'm sure you can dig up a teabagger email on that subject too!

It is so hard, (barely) living in Texass, wacthin' them women git rights....black peple gittin rights....teh gays MARRIN' each other......teh creep of socialism all 'round yer!

What factors go into mortality rates in Europe? Do you know or do you even care? LOL, keep beating up on TX which just shows your jealousy that the state is doing so well

Why do you assume that criticism of tax policy on the rich is motivated by jealousy of what others have? That is a very self congratulatory dishonest pat on the back of your own argument and the people you are defending while at the same time dismissing the valid reasons why people hold the economic views on taxation that they do for the best interests of both the nation and all the American people.

What else could it be? That is all I hear from liberals tax the rich. Here is a little secret for you, that is jealousy as there isn't enough money that the rich control that would ever fund the liberal spending appetite. You don't seem to understand that every dollar that goes to the Federal Govt. is one less dollar left in the states for their economy and use forcing the federal govtl to become bigger and more intrusive

Keep spreading those lies about doing the common good at the federal level as career politicians get richer and the people become more dependent

Higher infant mortality rates in the US.....are caused by....low levels of pre-birth health care....and general low levels of support for those most vulnerably.
LOL, keep beating up on TX which just shows your jealousy that the state is doing so well
Well, yer average as far as US infant mortality goes, so..no, not so well. It is a funny thing how the overwhelming majority of states that have lower IM.....are more "socialized", like the Northern EU states.....which by the way have rates of less than half of Texas. But don't let that bother you.

What else could it be?

What it could be is a legitimate dispute about the nations tax policy, the fairness of it, and the ability of the government to raise enough revenue to pay its bills without running up increased deficits.

For example, let us take three different people, all of who earn TEN MILLION DOLLARS in 2016 without any other deductions or all deductions being equal for all three.

Abe and his spouse earns his ten mil from income as a professional athlete. His tax rate is 39%. That means he pays $3,900,000 in taxes to the feds.
Bob and his spouse earns his ten mil from investments as capital gains. His tax rate is 15%. That means he pays $1,500,000 in taxes to the feds.
Charles earns his ten mil when he and his wife inherit from his folks. His tax rate on that amount is ZERO. His tax bill to the feds is also ZERO.

There we have three people, each with the same amount, and the disparity in taxation is massive.

That is what can motivate many people.

LOL, there are a lot of reasons for the US mortality rate including the freedoms and personal choices we have here vs. Europe. The obesity rate here is worse but bet you want to put limits on what people eat now too.

Look, you have a good heart but stop thinking with it

Look, why is it with you and others all about the revenue required and not how the money is spent in the first place? We have state and local government budgets that take care of social responsibilities, why is this a federal responsibility?

I give credit to anyone who has millions and don't believe I am entitled to it nor do I need it. This class warfare issue was never something instilled in me like it is you and the rest of the left. I really don't give a damn what someone else pays in taxes but I do care about the waste, fraud, and abuse in our Federal Govt. the spending in the name of compassion that has generated failed results, and taking money away from the state and local economies to fund federal bureaucracy spending

I get it, you don't want to debate probably the most revealing of all socio-economic indicators of health and social welfare of a nation, namely infant mortality. You instead want to laugh at it, to make into a joke, to attempt to distract with the process of assessment....other than to address it directly. I would expect nothing else from a teabagging Drumpf supporter from Texass.

Look, don't make me say something that would get me an infraction but there are reasons for high infant mortality and many of them are related to personal choices made by the mother. Until you change human behavior all that liberal social engineering is a waste of taxpayer money. As for being a teabagger, great, thanks for the compliment. most teabaggers have more logic and common sense than the entire liberal group combined.

I have no interest in class warfare.

I share a concern over government spending and there are programs I would like to see less money spent on.

I do care what people pay in taxes just as I care about equal enforcement of the law.

The system I outlined for you is NOT equal enforcement of the law since it treats the SOURCE OF ONES MONEY differently and thus unequally.

Sure, like not being able to afford or have access to prenatal care...is a personal choice.....a matter of FREEDOM!. I bet you got a zillion teabagger chain emails you can plagiarize to repeat such insanity.

Oh, now.....the inability to pay for or have access to prenatal care.....is a matter of...."human behavior", whereas a moment ago it was all about "FREEDOM!".

Any other teabagger nuttiness you want to spread around?

then if you have no concern about class warfare why would you support increasing the taxes only on the rich? I support a flat tax and a govt. about the size of 1.5 trillion dollars a year with every working Americans paying something

No but smoking, drinking, and abusing your body during pregnancy certainly doesn't help

The stupid comments continue, just a moment ago you were arguing the EU has higher levels of those activities.....yet the EU has lower infant mortality.......so apparently.....those are not the causes.

And I did not even have to give you rope to hang your argument, you did it all by yerself. Good job, graet results...derp.

Sheesh is right, you are always going to blame your country for everything, take data from others that you have no idea how it was captured or under what criteria all to promote your leftwing ideology of a bigger central govt. never realizing that a govt. big enough to give you all that you want is also big enough to take it all away. Career politicians certainly have a tool in people like you.

You already put your faith in "teh data" on substance use, your inferences on the matter backfired.....and again, if you want to dispute the data you already hung yer argument on, go ahead....but you haven't, so this is nothing more that stupid argument compounded by more stupid argument.

You would be much better off working to solve social problems in your own community, getting your state to handle infant mortality problems that wasting it posting mortality rates overseas from countries that you have no idea whether the same categories and criteria is being used. what comes next from you, planned mandated diets for Americans?

"Oh ho! I know, I'll sit here in my basement and tell him to stop wasting time posting in a forum and compound this stupidity with my prior stupid argument about questioning data...that I was using to bolster my argument before! The irony of all of this escapes me completely."

Your passion for liberalism and failure is noted as is your ignorance on the issues

then if you have no concern about class warfare why would you support increasing the taxes only on the rich? I support a flat tax and a govt. about the size of 1.5 trillion dollars a year with every working Americans paying something

I have long supported
1- a tax hike on every American earning dollar one on up of 5 points added to their current rate
2- stop the unfair discrimination as to how a person earns their money and the source of that money. Simply tax it as income according to the schedule.

This....is being posted....from a basement in Texass.....from a guy.......who will not even begin to debate the real causes of infant mortality in the US....and instead.....infers that the use of tobacco is higher in the EU.....but that it is the reason US for higher IM.....in the US.

A teabagger.......whining about...others "ignorance".

This is just so special.

Again, that would be a start but the issue remains just how much money does the Federal Govt. need to spend? Why is spending never questioned when it is tied to compassion? The baseline budgeting has to change and it is time to return the Federal Govt. back to its roots and return ALL social spending excluding SS and Medicare back to the states. Looking at the line items in the budget it would be easy to remove SS and Medicare from the budget and then cut the rest of the budget back to about 1.5 trillion dollars a year. Implement a flat tax for all Americans earning income.

I haven't been able to find a basement in TX, so again another topic you know nothing about. Amazing how it is the federal taxpayers responsibility to take care of infant mortality. When do you unleash the police to make sure mothers aren't abusing their bodies. It really is a shame that we have so many people that think only with their hearts and then demonize others when challenged with logic and common sense. Maybe that is the problem you don't understand the words logic and common sense

LOL....you thought the meme....was literal.

This is a straw argument, the argument was about indications of the health of an economy, which is reflected in the health of a population.....and the comparison of the US to the EU. You have forgotten what the argument was, so you created a fictionalized version to knock down.

You have no idea as to the solutions to the problems you say exist but put your faith in a 19.4 trillion dollar in debt federal govt. that screws up everything it operates. Einstein defined people like you quite well

Solutions? Good grief! The Texass bagger is so deep in denial about infant mortality even being an issue so as to question its existence! You then have the chutzpah to mention one of the greatest scientists of all time! The derangement required to post such things online is incalculable.
