Trump Called Out for Hidden Coke Bottle After Announcing Coca-Cola Boycott

A boycott is a tool to financially impact a business. Products already purchased aren't going to affect that one way or another. Presumably we can all agree that it's highly probable Trump's suddenly famous bottle of coke had been purchased beforehand, yes? So what you're talking about - and what this 'news' article is all about - is simply virtue signalling. God forbid he still be drinking it the day after calling for a boycott!

What makes you suggest that he has a "storage room full of it," out of interest? If there were evidence that he'd asked his staff to stock up before calling for a boycott (or of course if they were still buying it on an ongoing basis) that might be fourth- or fifth-page newsworthy, I suppose
Talk about missing the forest for the trees: Trump has millions of lemmings across the country willing to do about anything he says. But kinda hard to sell millions of people on a boycott of a product when you are still publicly using it. It makes no difference that he bought it before. Hopefully you get this is another of Trump's con games. He doesn't want a boycott of coke; he wants YOU PEOPLE to boycott coke.

Gosh, this is exciting news. If the bottle can be seen in the photo, it's not very well hidden, is it?

In such a photograph, having any soda bottle or coffee cup is maybe a little tacky. If others agree, I am prepared to become dreadfully upset.
Do I need to explain the concept of hypocrisy to you or is it OK when you agree with it?

That’s because Donald Trump can eff up even a literal bottle of soda.

Are you dreadfully upset?

Why would I be upset at President Ocean’s 11 inability to position a bottle of soda in a photo op with some other loser?

It's as exciting as 'Joe stumbles three times'.

Why are you bothering to post in this thread if you aren't upset in some way? I just need to gauge whether I should begin frothing yet over this terrible, awful thing Trump has done.

That bottle might just be the applicator for a high intensity light to be used for medical purposes.

Laughing at the possibilities for use, and you just never know! ;)

Necessity is the mother of invention. They never mention the father, though, so I suppose we'll have to wait for the invention to do 23andme.

YOu’d have to ask some of the dumbassees who voted for him and agree with him that coke should be canceled.

I can’t tell you why Trump voters get angry over what they do other than limited education and no curiosity about the world around them.

And I can't tell you why anti-Trump voters remain obsessed over this former President.

The thread is in response to the former guy’s statement that coke should be canceled. For someone who insists they have no interst in this, you sure are active in a thread you promise isn’t upsetting you.

Tell ya what, maybe we should all obsess over Trump’s SoS for, say, the next 20 years or so? Would that make more sense to you?

This passes for news more so than your post passes for logic. Trump calls for a boycott but if his crew bought some last week, he should go ahead and drink it in public. Because there is nothing that proves your dedication to a boycott when you are a world leader than continuing to use the product because you have a storage room full of it.
Trump's Coke boycott is just another example of Right Wing hypocrisy. They decry "cancel culture", then call for a boycott, then violate the boycott the next day. They're just fun to watch.

on one had I agree this is a non-story, on the other hand I expected some "but Joe Biden" comments ;)

HAHAHHA.

Trump supporters are so stupid. They probably won't even understand this thread.
The Trump supporters here on DP have a slightly higher IQ than most of them. Just look at Jan. 6th, 2021. That bunch wouldn't add up to 100 combined.

Who drinks Coke anyways?

Pepsi beats Coke any day!

Pepsi is crap, or at least it used to be when I was still a coke addict (coke as in the drink, I never used illegal drugs of any kind, not even pot). I used to drink gallons of the stuff during a weekend, two gallons at least (while working behind the bar for 30 hours a weekend).

I stopped cold turkey when I got horrendously sick during a weekend trip to Spa Francorchamps to see the grand prix of motorcycles. We camped in a tent and I never got to see one minute of the races because I was having another race going, the race to visit the toilet for having stomach (and lower down) problems from having drunk about 5 gallons or so of coca cola in about 36 hours. I went to a club that night with a whole bunch of hard rock friends who drank loads of alcohol and I paid in just as much as the rest of them so I kept up the same speed with my coca cola's as they did with their beers. It was a terrible idea and as I had no water but just coke to drink that weekend, I drank gallons of the stuff and got so sick from it and never drank it again.

But there was one truth during that time, no coke was even close to that of coca cola.

To the Trumpsters who don't get it..

The point isn't was the bottle hidden or not. The point is he's still drinking Coke... Kind of like when for months he downplayed Covid-19, but then in January him and his crime family got the shot...

People seem to be desprate to keep their president Trump hate alive and well. Scouring the internet looking for Trump stuff to scream about!

Just another day at DP! ;)

Do you have no idea what this is about or are you pretending to be ignorant?
