Trump’s “Christian” supporters do not follow a central message of Jesus

Pentecost didn't take place till after the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. 50 days later.

So, why was Judas in attendance?

Luke 22...

7 The day of the Unleavened Bread now arrived, on which the Passover sacrifice must be offered;+

8 so Jesus sent Peter and John, saying: “Go and get the Passover ready for us to eat.+

9 They said to him: “Where do you want us to get it ready?”

10 He said to them: “Look! When you enter into the city, a man carrying an earthenware water jar will meet you. Follow him into the house that he enters.+

11 And say to the landlord of the house, ‘The Teacher says to you: “Where is the guest room where I may eat the Passover with my disciples?”’

So, that doesn't prove your statement. Jesus is still alive. Pentecost is 50 days after the Resurrection. Judas is long dead and gone.

Acts 1 was the beginning of Jesus' acts...

"The first account, O Theophilus, I composed about all the things Jesus started to do and to teachuntil the day that he was taken up, after he had given instructions through holy spirit to the apostles he had chosen." Acts 1:1,2

Acts of Apostles: The Greek title Praʹxeis A·po·stoʹlon is found in some manuscripts going back to the second century C.E., though there is no evidence that this book originally had a title. The book is a continuation of the Gospel written by Luke. (See study note on Ac 1:1.) It covers primarily the activities of Peter and Paul, not those of all the apostles. The book provides a reliable and comprehensive history of the spectacular beginning and rapid development of the Christian congregation, first among the Jews, next among the Samaritans, and then among the Gentiles. (See study note on Mt 16:19.) The book also provides a historical background for the inspired letters of the Christian Greek Scriptures.

No, Judas was not there. If Judas was there at Pentecost, why did the disciples have to replace him in (Acts 1:15-26)?

How many times I gotta say it? A lot can happen in 2 or 3 verses in the Bible...

"When they arrived, they went up into the upper room where they were staying. There were Peter as well as John and James and Andrew, Philip and Thomas, Bartholomew and Matthew, James the son of Alphaeus, and Simon the zealous one, and Judas the son of James." Acts 1:13

Now you're avoiding the question. Why did the discples have to replace Judas in (Acts 1:15-26) if he was still alive. Pentecost occurs in (Acts 2).

Your answer 'a lot can happen' means nothing.

Ok, I did a little research, you're right, I'm wrong...I got the Passover and the Pentecost mixed up, as well as the 2 different Judas'...scratch everything I said about that subject...sorry, my goof up and I owe you a sincere apology...not the 1st, won't be the last for this old woman...

I stand by this though...they/the Jewish believers were considered the 1st Christians...

No. A Christian is one who professes faith in the Person of Jesus Christ as Son of God, Lord and Saviour. Not in the teachings of Christ.

You are very knowledgeable about myths and superstitions. A regular Aesop.

There is too much hate and violence by the Progressives.

Projection, as always, from Buster.
The oh so tolerant "Progressives" do things like burn people's homes, cars, and businesses.
They block traffic and pull people out of their cars and beat them.
Left Wingers are incapable of introspection.

Spending other people's money is not compassion.

The problem with this assertion is, of course, that in the case of welfare, what you are essentially doing is volunteering your neighbor's money to pay for your good deeds.
Charity is good works. Advocating that the government do it is stealing from your neighbor.
I think we settled that with the New Deal. After that Medicare/Medicaid, food assistance, etc.

When Jesus walked among us, there was no difference in the church, the community, and the government (outside of what Rome put under its purview).

It is heresy to argue that you get out of your Christian duty to the sick and the poor simply because your action is a vote or a petition to your government.
