Opposition figures are almost always broken by the system so, I think, it is rather obvious that Trump is not an oppositition figure much less a leader of any kind. Trump went where he was pointed. The fat bastard has never fired a gun in his life...ever. Aside from some photo opps, he's seldom ever held a gun. Why was he so hyped on gun rights? The people who voted for him are in favor of gun rights, its seen as manly and he wants to appear manly. Ditto that for any number of issues. Why is he for trashing the environment at every turn? Because people who vote for him either don't believe in man-induced environmental change or they simply don't care. And they are just dumb enough to believe that if a company can pollute more, they will be more profitable. Foreign policy... Why was he so pro Israel? Because its the popular position to hold since Hebrews are not flying planes into our buildings. Who is? The enemy of the Hebrew, those who practice Islam. All that it is going to do--is further tensions and there will be considerable blowback down the line. Its not a matter of "if" but "when". The non-consequential agreements that were signed was there for a hedge against the four year hiatus we took from prosecuting the war on terror.

Apparently I didn't choose to live here because I was born here. My family came here prior to 1700 and had a land grant of 40,000 acres in the Virginia Colony from King George.
We fought with General Washington during the Revolutionary war, then the War of 1812 and onward. One of my distant cousins was a President of the United States (my grandmother's first cousin), so when you wish to speak about American greatness, understand my people didn't just get here late off the boat, or by climbing under some fence.

There are clearly things that could be better (like sending the jackass to another planet), but if it wasn’t a good place to live you wouldn’t choose to be here.

The fact that black people are killing each other all too often does not excuse the few bad cops out there who kill unarmed black people simply because they view black people differently. I cannot imagine how parents feel in neighborhoods of color when they send their kids off to school or let them out to play. There is a huge racial disparity in how people of color are treated in this country, and thats just a fact. Until everyone understands that we cannot begin to solve it.

But no, we are NOT leaving, and we are NOT changing our values just to make you liberals feel better, or to relieve you of your guilty concsciences by us remaining silent, or being pressured to agree with you. The reason you want us to leave is the same reason you want to silence us in media, in businesses, on college campuses, and in the public square, is because your failed ideologies cannot stand up to logic. So better to silence us than debate us.

Voting irregularities aside, the dems just turned out more votes---also a record. But the way I see that is that it may be a variable tied mostly to the covid situation, and the way voting happened this year. And like or not, those 75 million Americans who voted for Trump didn't just vaporize and disappear after November, so it is silly for the left to assume a total victory. A battle won, but not the war.

As I wrote, I don’t really care if you stay or if you leave. By staying you have essentially decided that this country is a good place to be, warts and all. Sure it could be better. But the jackass isn’t the answer. He is a pathological liar, a bigot, a racist, a misogenist, and hypocrit. You want your message to be acceptable to the 80m+ people who didn’t vote for him, find a better candidate. The problem isn’t the conservative message-it the jackass we have for a president for the next ten days.
Whether or not he committed a crime by inciting a seditious riot will be up to the courts to decide-not you or me. For my part he crossed the line. Even his allies are deserting him now. Members of his own party are calling for him to resign.
He is a sub-human animal that I would love to see sent to a different planet.

His day in court will come.
