Thousands of U.S troops deploying to Israel

It's all part of the International Jewish Conspiracy to rule the world. If you can't believe the Iranians, who can you believe?

basically, it is, yeah. It's posturing. Muscle flexing. Like when carnivores are nervous, they yawn - to show off their fangs.

I know the anti war crowd gets in a tizzy over these sorts of things, but, ironically, these shows of force are actually intended to prevent conflict - by reminding your opponent that it will hurt.

My husband's in the service - I'm not in the anti-war crowd. But I agree it is a flexing of military might and quite convenient - but technically it's not a drill; It is a response with a purpose.
 
I think it's a prelude to war.


'US deploys troops in Israel for Iran war'

The US military is preparing a massive military campaign against Iran, sending thousands of American troops, warships and weaponry to Israel.


An unnamed source said the military deployment of US anti-missile ships and accompanying support personnel will occur in January and later this spring, Global Research reported.

Commander of the US Third Air Force based in Germany Lt.-Gen Frank Gorenc said it is not just an "exercise," but a "deployment," The Jerusalem Post said.

Washington and Tel Aviv have planned to hold what they call the largest-ever joint military exercise this spring.

The US commander visited Israel two weeks ago to confirm details for “the deployment of several thousand American soldiers to Israel.”

These last 11 years have been one hell of a long prelude to war . . . I'm still waiting. I truly doubt it'll happen unless other countries commit acts beyond anything that's happened already and leave us no choice.

If terrorist attacks and violated treaties aren't reason enough for us to want to go to war in mass numbers then is anything? Definitely not fuel - and in fact: Obama will use this to support his view that we should become energy inefficient (I would say independent but he has no interest in independency measures - only measures that weaken us overall in this area)
 
No surprise here. Israel is our ally and the Iranian President wants Israel "wiped off the map."

So naturally our place is to 'be there' - when we are suppose to be 'downsizing our military and bringing our troops home'

We've been so immersed in ME-BS I can't tell real need from false need. . . instead: I'm just confused with our government's stance on where we actually are.
