I'm placing the blame on the adults who were sent to make sure something like this didn't happen. Look at that one chaperones comment that she couldn't believe the boys stood there and took the verbal abuse. Why didn't she (as her job of chaperone) step up and do something? "Oh I can't believe little Timmy was called such horrible things, while I stood by and watched!!" :doh

Why are you having such a hard time understanding chaperones aren't sent to deal with other groups that those in their care may come across. They are there to provide safety and guidance for the students. Not stand there and gasp that a group outside their control is hurling insults and then cry those poor poor boys! :roll:

Again .... Amazingly there is nearly limitless videos showing these kids behaving in a very adult manner and controlling themselves and no one else doing the same. In those videos, several racial slurs are slung at them and philips tries to intimidate a young man for at least 4 or 5 minutes.

Somehow, there is absolutely zero video showing the kids doing the things they are accused of. No video of them calling for a wall to be built or saying anything, much less racial slurs.

Anything quoting philips is to be disregarded at this point.

Dammitall! I fell for it an clicked. The kids were laughing, trying to figure out how to interact with the rude guy barging up on them and just having fun. They again made no aggressive, racial, or really any kind of behavior except trying to play along.

I did get a smile, though. The first response under the video asked the totally fair question. What is appropriate? Should they have averted their eyes and stood in silence? Maybe they should have knelt down and asked for forgiveness for the actions of people 20 generations ago? Maybe they should have bent down and begged his forgiveness for being in the space he had chosen to walk into while beating his drum?

That isn’t what happened. Phillips was the aggressor in the situation. It’s a curious feature of our culture that people aggressively seek to be victimized, go out of their way in hopes of getting punched in the face, but here we are. People do that because they know the media hand out condemnation based on perceived ranking in the victim hierarchy. “Old Ypsilanti man” is near the top, while “privileged-looking young white male probable heterosexual in a MAGA cap” is the absolute bottom. The surface appeal of the story short-circuited the reporters’ brains to such a degree that they failed to perform basic tasks such as asking the people they were accusing for their version of events. The Times and other outlets had zero evidence that a “mob” “surrounded” Phillips, except a claim of Phillips that he has since backed away from.

Calling such a blatant and consistent pattern of political partisanship, all across the political aisle as 'mistakes' is clearly without credulity and completely laughable.
This is clearly being done purposeful and clearly being done with intent.

Look at the sources in the list. Some of these are lauded by those of the left persuasion. Is it any wonder? Speaking to their hyper partisanship with the 'new' outlet's political propaganda?

Don't believe the lying liberal media about anything, appears to be the only reasonable stance to take.

The fuller video would seem to assign more blame on a small group of Black Hebrew Israelites who were in the nation’s capital for the anti-abortion March for Life.

The main speaker for the Black Hebrew Israelites, hollering without a microphone for more than an hour, first tells some demonstrating Native Americans they had their land taken away because they worshiped the wrong god.

When the student party arrives later, the speaker launches into an attack on Catholics and against President Donald Trump. He also calls the mostly white youngsters “crackers . :



 
Isnt it shocking that idiot leftists are STILL clinging to the lies about the teen that was walked up on by the idiot activist with his cute little drum, but none of those idiot leftists can muster any outrage for the group of black men literally verbally attacking everyone present. Teen kids shouting MAGA is highly offensive according to the idiot leftists, but black men calling Indians savages and dogs while insulting their women...well...umm...but...the white teens....

Some of those teens may have been acting like jerks, but they were still the most responsibly behaving people present.

Here is what I find interesting...

The youth is held to a higher standard than the elder. An Elder should be setting a good example to the youth via their actions in the public square.

The elder's actions were not a good example to teach a young one on how to behave properly in the public square.

Pounding a drum in close proximity to face and ear for an extended period of time... can legitimately be taken by a reasonable person... as a not so friendly gesture by an elder... towards a young person.

Perhaps, the "idea" that the youth was smiling in an irritatingly smug way was an "idea" falsely conceived in the minds of the observers who offered that "idea" via all the media outlets that are now available for all to use to get their "ideas" out in the public square.

Perhaps, we can call that "idea" a symptom of MAGAhatphobia?
