The Tea Party vs. OWS

While there are a handful of similarities in the original intent of OWS and the Tea Party movements, it didn't take long for the far, far left to take over OWS and turn it into everything they (including the left-wing media) proclaimed the Tea Party to be (violent, hateful, etc...). We heard about how the Tea Party were angry, hateful racists prone to violence at the drop of a hat. We heard how OWS was representing the majority of Americans and were peaceful protesters. Oops, turns out that what the left-wing media has been saying all along about both groups is actually the exact opposite.

I heard no attacks against the Jews from the Tea Party, but I did from OWS.

I heard of no rapes, stabbings, drug use or attacking police officers from the Tea Party, but I did from OWS.

I saw a handful of racist signs from some of the Tea Party protests (and those people were called out for it), but I did see and hear numerous attacks on the Jews from OWS.

As for the idiot who took shots at the White House (and isn't it strange that this happened last week and they just discovered it this week?), he is a loon. But where are the cries from the left-wing media and the far, far left loons pointing out that he was hanging around the OWS camp? Why are the same people who blasted Palin, Beck, Limbaugh and FOX News for "driving Jared Lee Loughner to shoot Gabrielle Giffords" when he listened to none of them so silent here? Why aren't they jumping to proclaim that the OWS crowd drove Oscar Ramiro Ortega-Hernandez to shoot at the White House? Could it be that they have been dishonest and smear merchants all along? You betcha! How many folks will come out and say they were wrong? How many will defend their actions and ignore reality?

Ortega-Hernandez was a loon. He wasn't a far-left loon like others are claiming, he had mental issues. Why there is such a need from the most partisan of partisans (this includes the media) to tie a horrific incident to the "other side" is beyond me. Maybe the OWS crowd drove him to do what he did, but maybe they didn't. Maybe he had this planned all along and was using the OWS crowd as a cover, who knows? But the dishonesty by the far, far left and the left-wing media has been exposed, yet again.

Isn't it fascinating how the media CRUCIFIED the tea party and said people like Sarah Palin and Glenn Beck were inciting people into violence (that never happened)....yet, there is TONS of violence in this OWS movement and the media barely says a word.

I think I understand... You're not into peaceful, effective protest movements with clear objectives that produce real electoral results. You find instead movements that incorporate violence, destruction of property, wide spread drug use, and have no clear objectives, more your cup of tea... No pun intended.

The Tea Party protests is an example of what to do and the OWS protests are an example of what not to do. This is why no one was trying to evict Republicans when they had their Tea Party protests. The Occutards fail to realize this. Its not the message that are getting mayors across the country to kick them out of parks, its how the occutards conducted themselves during the protests.

The Tea Party and OWS shouldn't be in opposition to each other, but due to the fact that both groups are easily led, they've become "opposite sides" despite the fact that they are pissed about the exact same things.

The fact that both sides are gleefully attacking each other instead of their common enemies has got to keep those enemies quite content. In fact, those very same people have co-opted both movements for their own political gain.
