Boo! If the wives of presidents are First Ladies, then the husband of the president should get some sort of title, even if they are an ex-president.

Well...he has a point that Bill already has President as his title. You don't take a step down in title, that's not really how it works. You wouldn't called Obama "Senator Obama" after he leaves office. He will always be "President Obama".
