Can someone explain to me why we are talking about contraceptives???

Seriously gas is at its highest point ever this early in a year.

The interest on the national debt will soon be more than what we spend on medicare and medicaid combined.

The Iranians seem bent on causing a far reaching war.

And what do you hear about in the news? What is the left so up in arms about?

The fact that Rick Santorum is a catholic and that becuase of that he doesn't like contraceptives. where in the world are we??? Did I get transported back to the 50's when you couldnt be a president if you were catholic?

And yes this is about religion, dont even try and say it isn't becuase what the frick does it matter if Rick wont ever use a condom to you the voter? Nothing. The left wants to make it out like this is about contraception but thats rediculous. Santorum does NOT want to outlaw contraception, so you can all get your panties out of a bunch. This is all just a hit piece to make sure a real conservative doesnt run against Obama.

Because the GOP can't run on economic policies because our economy is most definitely on the rebound.

Contraception is an issue easily fixed. Or, makes a great distraction. Pick one, or both. Regardless, none of the others are solvable anytime soon, so they don't want us focused on them.

My bad. Didn't mean to imply that he did take him out. But that Mubarak was taken out and the US didn't step in and assist his reign and instead supported the protests.

Gaddafi... I didn't say anything about right or wrong. I said he was removed with the assistance of the Obama administration and the right isn't about to go to the left of Obama for fear of looking weak on foreign policy.

No you miss the point, I could care less if they talk about one thing, what I want is for them to talk about something at least moderately important. What Santorum's personal religious views are have absolutely nothing to do with what is going on in America right now. The truth is they cant find anything else to smear santorum on so they are going after his religion and it is just really sad that they have to go their, in my opinion.

that's not really true, santorum is putting his religion out there rather vehemently, and no one is going after due to his religion, he's being questioned because of his rather radical views. additionally, he's gone after obama's religion, as well. and you know what? that's politics. truthfully, i think santorum is probably an ok guy, but he's got no ideas about our economy, which is by far our most important issue.
