I always thought the show was filth brought to us by filthy Hollywood with its filthy values. Angus must have seen the show before he signed a contract to star on it and at this point his Christian values should be to honor his word and do the show until the contract expires.

The first episode was with them moving into his house. that was the comedy of it at the time - he was promiscuous and trying to hide it from his brother's kid.

In honestly thought -- all those years ago -- that the plot would progress and he'd become more of a family guy, etc. You know, something like that. But it just sort of stayed the same.

I would say it is even worse now. The brother, Allen I think his name is used to be the good brother but now he is a low life too.

I find absolutely hilarious that some of you are berating the show based on its filth. If you can't find the humor in it, then you are far to uptight to even watch a show like that. I watched every season up until Charlie left. I tried to watch it with Ashton, but it is not the same.

The show is a comedy people. For all of you who are wound up by its sexuality and what not...pull the stick out of your behinds and understand that it is just a comedy sitcom. For those of you who just simply don't like it then that is fine, but to sit there and call it out on filth makes you look uptight with no sense of humor.

As far as Angus goes...I think he needs to understand that without this show...he is nothing. Two and Half Men made him, and he will be nothing without that show. Jon Cryer is the best element to that show by far, and it is a shame that he had to go through so much constant crap with Charlie Sheen and now Angus.

This is almost as ridiculous as when Issac Hayes left South Park because they made fun of Scientology.

At least Isaac had the balls to quit. Of course, Isaac was gonna be fine living off his royalties anyway. He didn't need them mutha****as!

Angus Jones, on the other hand, is not a songwriter of any repute (to my knowledge). If not for this show, the best he could have hoped for is to be "that kid from the Juicy Juice commercial."

This guy is a grade-A hypocrite. If he really cared more about his "religious convictions" than the almighty dollar he would walk away from his contract and deal with the monetary ramifications. Its obvious that he is a publicity whore and that he cares more about money than his religious beliefs.

I have 2 observations now that I have seen the clip of him saying what he said.

1. Hollywood people conform to the people they are around. This kid must have been around some religious people for a while and now he beleives what they eleive. When he spends some time back at work he will forget all about that.

2. It may be that he said this on camera knowing it would go viral and everybody on boards would be talking about it using his name. It must be hard for him to be the half of the Two And A Half Men, and nobody knows his name. I know everybody elses name from the show but not his. This could be his way to get his name known, not knowing the consequences. Hollywood people aren't the smartest people around.

I would argue that he is being true to himself. Which is ironically a clear representation of his character on the show. A bumbling, stumbling moron who hasn't a clue what real life entails. The kid is dumber than a bag of hammers.

It was being presented as proof of God's existence, of Intelligent Design.

I guess you could say the banana is proof of intelligent design, seeing as how humans are that designer.

Any Christian worth his salt knows that you can't prove the existence of God. You either believe or you don't.

Show tanked after they fired Charlie.

Producers want to give you a "more apparent" reason on why the show is failing.

Charlie Sheen WINNING.

Dudes fired Charlie and lost a good cash cow. *slowly shakes my head*

I've never liked the kid so they could fire him for all I care. The show is different with Ashton, but I won't say worse. I only watch it when there is nothing else on though. I couldn't even tell you what day it comes on. It is there or it is not.

It's much ado about nothing. The whole thing could be a sham to gin up ratings for the failing show. Or it could be that Jones, who has grown up on the show is finally waking up to adulthood and finding himself caught in contract.

I know you're kidding, but when folks first come to Christ of their own, especially the young ones, they tend to go balls out on it. Their ferver is high, in their minds they've just made this life-changing amazing discovery and it hasn't settled into their day to day lives yet. Young adults do that with any new discovery in their lives, they jump in with both feet.

Judging from his comments in the last day or so I think he is just a young man who grew up on set and is now facing adulthood without being able contractually (or financially) to escape his childhood.

LOL. Sometimes nothing grabs me so I end up on CBS. While rarely it happens, once in awhile there is nothing on my 647 PBS stations of interest (okay it is like 6 for the literalists out there but that is a lot of PBS choice IMHO)

Why do they need to be?

Sometimes I think it's counterproductive to spend all your time fussing over why you don't believe in something that already is believed (by individual) to not exist.

I think to many people it's a serious non-issue. they're just not going ot spend time with it.
