So you are officially ignoring definitions then?
just the ones used incorrectly by someone who is clueless concerning the fact that firearms ownership is a RIGHT not a PRIVILEGE
Let me explain this to you. Americans have the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. When we throw someone in jail, we're denying them those things. Does that mean those aren't actually rights?

George Washington once said:
"How many legs does a dog have if you call a tail a leg? Four, you can call a tail a leg but it is still a tail."
No, it makes them privileges.
Again its a disgusting position. under the constitution there is no difference between the standard infantry arm of the USA and a semi automatic version thereof
And the constitution has no difference between a newspaper and Hustler and yet pornography is regulated by the federal and state governments. Which shows that the Bill of Rights are not unqualified rights.
Uh sorry, I understand weapons and can shoot full automatics whenever I want. I find them a waste of ammunition generally
You can fire any semi-automatic weapon or pistol by the technique known as bump firing, and that could be used to cover someone's retreat if need be.
The art of bump firing takes some practice if you don't mind wasting ammo, or you could get your AK or AR-15 equipped with this special stock. Then everybody can own an automatic, legally, too.

An easier way with an AK is just remove one of the catches in the trigger and you have a fully automatic AK.
Pretty sure that isn't legal, though.

You aren't aloud to alter weapons?
You aren't aloud
It is a privilege because if you commit certain crimes it can be taken away. If it were a right, no matter what, everyone would be able to own a gun.
You can lose your right to vote.

I noted this several pages ago-Jryan's concept of rights and privileges is a bit different than yours or mine
No disagreement with you on that. I used to laugh at my ex brother-in-law when he'd come around and fire all 30 rounds as fast as he could and then manage to hit the target once. That was before anyone knew about bump firing. If we fired a burst, we thought there was something internally wrong with our guns, but laughed about it. I just learned about bump firing about a year ago. What a surprise. I still don't like to do it. Ammo is too expensive these days, but still this special stock might be worth looking in to, just for the heck of it.
You don't find M16's dangerous?
Vote on whether you think any American not convicted of a violent crime should have the right to own a fully automatic assault rifle like an AK-47 or an M-16.
Discussion through the thread seems to indicate mass murder on a small scale is okay. The Dirty Harry's draw the line at mortars and VX gas. I'm mean... that would be crazy to sell those arms to general public, right??
But owning a machine designed to wipe out an entire school cafeteria is what the founders intended.
Ever fired an automatic weapon? They are pretty hard to control and therefor very bad for shooting up anything. A legal semi-automatic would be better.
I admire your persistence but there's no point in trying to change some people's minds... or even get them to discuss something in a reasonable manner.
