Blog: HUD battles 'Whitopia'

The Obama administration is exploring ways to dismantle America's "Whitopias" -- cities and towns that are overwhelmingly white and that, according to Washington's social engineers, must be remade to reflect more racial and economic diversity. The Department of Housing and Urban Development is proposing a rule - "Affirmatively Furthering Fair Housing" - that it hopes will spur demographic changes in communities that receive HUD money; in places, presumably, like Boise, Idaho (too white) or Westport, Connecticut (too white and too rich).

This is a bit of research I'm doing motivated by a conversation I had a while back with a person who was, "Looking for a good school system." It's code, I knew what he meant and he sure as hell knew what he meant.

"Trying to find a school for my kids that don't have too many niggers."

They are insisting on affordable (section 8) housing being available in ALL neighborhoods here in Austin. I'm confident that will work out well. ;)

Actually, I hear it is less colored persons that parents want to avoid for their kids. It is the likelihood of the black kids being more challenged than their own siblings. They want to circumvent the problems this often brings with poor socialization. I see this in Europe, where it is usually white kids that cause the disruptions. Almost all the parents i know have pulled their children out of public schools and put them into private ones.

Affordable housing in affluent communities' is a big problem for the affluent too. If low wage earners can't afford to live near their jobs then the affluent are going to have trouble finding people to work for them.

Park City, Utah is a prime example of an affluent white community that depends on low income workers but didn't plan for housing that the workers could afford to live in with the low wages they were getting. The affluent don't want concentrated low income housing in their areas...but they want the $9 an hour workers that keep their town up and running. It's the white man's dilemma...or prejudice depending on how you look at it.

Hey lets bring back mandatory busing. That seemed to work out well.

More "if you're white you're racist" crap. It never gets old.

Why aren't they ever trying to appeal to the better-off and well-educated plural minorities out there (meaning - Korean, Black, African, Hispanic - etc) to move to these neighborhoods on their own volition?

Did they ever think that maybe black people (etc) don't want to live around people like my sister?

I used to live in Broken Bow, Nebraska. Why don't they FORCE all the black people to move to rural towns in the midwest / great plains in the holy name of DIVERSITY.

I'll tell you why it won't happen. There is not enough jobs there for the white people, much less anyone else.

Everyone works on a ranch, a farm, or a minimum wage in-town job. That is it!

Why is it these feds do not have the slightest idea how the world works?

Given the level of hatred, violence, and oppressive behavior that we are continually told that white people display, why would any non-white want to be around white people at all? For instance, in the OP video, it only took 10 seconds for them to show what may be a "church" because of the crosses on the wall, but it also has a neo-Nazi shield and flag - 10 seconds, not to mention the "red-neck deliverance" style music from the very beginning.

I just can't imagine why any black person would want to live around such evil bastards, as what we are continually being told, is the average white family.

No one wants section 8 housing near where they live, no matter WHAT race they are, because anyone who's been around those sorts of complexes, knows what often goes on in and around them.

White people is where the money and jobs are.

Really? Ever been to most areas of the Midwest? Or for that matter, most areas in the North Carolina mountains - awfully white, but damned poor, and no jobs. You know what it's called when someone makes a generalization like is in your post about an entire race of people? It's called racist, boys and girls. You may want to think about that.

You are misreading what I wrote. White people generally bring the jobs and wealth with them whether in the city or suburbs, and it's only natural that blacks and hispanics would want to move to these areas where white's are to get into these fields. Where blacks are highly concentrated, especially in inner-cities there is a noticeable lack of job opportunity and wages. If I were black and living in these areas, I'd want to escape too, to the suburbs where there is more of a mix or predominant areas of white wealth.

And yes, I know many areas of the country have many poor white Americans. I'm not suggesting that by virtue of being white, you're automatically not poor. I'm just suggesting that for minorities, from an economic standpoint it makes more sense to try to escape out to where white wealth is and therefore I can see why minorities would want to live among whites.

Not only that but I think it's unconstitutional to force an entire group of citizens to relocate simply based on their race. Not that it hasn't been done before, but gee whiz, lets learn from lessons past.

Here's a fun fact...

The Boy Scouts of America was created during the industrial age to help teach white farm boys that migrated to urban areas how to be good citizens and respect the law...and to keep them out of trouble. Apparently, there was less for children to do in urban areas than rural areas where they were kept busy with farm chores...and so with all the over crowding in small areas and free time it was hard to keep children from going down the wrong path and turning into criminals when they grew up. So the BoA was created to help fill that void.

Holy ****, you actually believe that is what white people all mean when they say they're looking for good schools??

THAT strikes me as a racist attitude.
