I'd give up on trying to defend Trump and switch to ad homs if I were you too.

Trump's mental decline is very, very public and undeniable.​
Even loyal Trumpco customers are unable to defend Trump on this count.​
So, they attack the messenger out of frustration.​

Nobody suffers more from "Obsessive-Compulsive Trump Disorder" than Trump himself. He can't let a day go by without desperately trying to squeeze his own name into the news cycle. Next in line would be the mindless minions that continue to support that loser.

Biden is handling so many crisis, helped unite europe and most of the world against Russia, is making a mockery of Putin with the intel they are getting and making it public before Putin does something, he dealt with COVID and got the vaccines and tests out, has done so much more than the nothing Trump did for 4 years.
